In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

my leos got a stomach bug

i can see where your coming from. luckly i havent had any problems with my geckos. i just feel sorry for him after his mom saying that stuff. he thaught he can rely on her but i guess not. ever since then he hasnt or atleast to my ecknolegde let his mom take care of his animals again.i always keep some parazap on hand. i useualy if not always give it to my new animals. ever since i bought my first frilled dragon ive been keeping some on hand. well not to let this get really off topic, but like everyone else said in this. go to a vet as soon as possilbe. its the best thing to do.

hey bozo like i said before im gona have to get done snapperhead but i can also be a little pissed off as well since if the vet really cares about the animals than he shouldnt rape me on getting a physical examination of each and every leo just to do the fecal

Whooaahh... did I actually leave the BOI????
Listen man I know its a bit of money. But if thats the only vet in your area that does exotics.. and you have no other options.... how is it the vets fault? Where there is a will there is a way. I bet if you talked to the vet or sweet talked one of the vet techs you can work something out :)

what is not getting through to you is that the vets are out sqeeze that last buck out of your pocket
That is a load of complete bull! I happen to be a pre-vet student and have known and visited quite a few vets and know what they make....in general...vets are NOT in it for the money! They don't make very much. Most vets are vets because they care about the animals...they charge what they do so they can make a living doing what they love...taking care of animals. ...and btw...you may want to be nicer to your vet than you have been to the people here, because they can and will charge people more for being obnoxious.

You people in here get all worked over about someone complaining about vets, im probably gonna know more about geckos than this vet will the only difference is that he knows how to do the fecal test and identify the parasite ,in which my experience is limited. Im bringing them in so dont worry about it, I just need the meds to treat this parasite that my geckos picked up from regal. Plus if my gecko needed surgery they dont even do it , a walk-in vet does. My appointment is friday and im going to see what happens, so I had figured i would post here in the meantime. I have plenty of money which is why I have so many. Do you know what a vet is that graduated with c- gradepoint average?

Do you know what a vet is that graduated with c- gradepoint average?
A vet same as any other...who knows a d@#% lot more than you do about diagnosing, treating, and curing animals.

Even if your vet isn't particularly knowledgeable about reptiles (if this is the case than you should have found a reptile vet anyway...), they should still be able to diagnose and treat any parasites, and if there aren't any parasites and the problem has another cause, they can try to figure out what that is...which they wouldn't be able to do if you weren't bringing your geckos in. They may not know as much about the species as you...but they WILL know more about diseases they could have. I'm sure the vet is concerned much more with your geckos health than with the money they'll make off of you...Did you even try to KINDLY ask about a single visit fee for all of the geckos?

hey like Ive said before , the vet visit is not till this friday, ao I do not know what to expect, just want to identify this parasite so I can treat my leos and get them back to health. Even if I get meds will it have any effect on the leos breeding

I am willing to bet that vet would have told you to quarantine the geckos you buy before introducing them to your others which would have saved you some serious doe in the long run!

Yeah, my guess is the vet would have known that too....Heck most little kids know that....because they take the time to find out about the proper care.
Hopefully the meds will have an effect on your Leos breeding ablility....I'm sure you have plenty of money.....like you stated....
But if you have plenty of money, why are you on here whinning about the vet costs? Or is that your mom and dad have money?

Like I said I hope it has an effect on your Leos ability to breed. Because if you didn't even know about quarantining then you have no right breeding Leos....I wonder what else you have no clue about....

No...messed up would be hoping they don't get healthy otherwise...it would also be breeding them since you seem to know nothing about them and shouldn't be breeding them.
