In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was awakened at about a quarter to five this morning by, my husband.
"Baby, can you get up and take me to the hospital?"
I knew it had to be BAD, he does not do doctors, much less hospitals.
He was clutching his mid-chest, and stating he was in terrible pain. He had been having this same type of pain for the last 4 days and thought it was indegestion. Until, it reached a point where he could no longer deal with the pain.
I took him to the Military Hospital ER, and almost immeadetly they knew.
He was having a heart attack. I kept my cool in front of him, but it was so hard. This, is the love of my life, we have been together for 23 + years. I am still "In Love" with him.
They felt that he needed more intensive care and had him sent to Savannah.
He went to Memorial CCU. Before I could get there, they felt it was imperitave that they check his heart for blockages.
By the time I arrived, he was in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
I waited and waited, finally they came for me and took me to his bed. They had to put a stint in his artery. They had found a 98% blockage to the artery that supplies blood to the entire front of his heart.
He is resting now, not comfortably, Charlie cannot be still. He is being sedated due to this. They fear bleeding from his femoral artery where they went in. He has had a truck load of blood thinners, since 5 this morning.
He is on IV nitro, and they are monitoring him closely. If all goes well they said they will move him from CCU to a regular room maybe tomorrow.
I am going back to Savannah tonight for one more visit, I will update then.
He insist I go to work tomorrow, says there is nothing to be gained by my sitting there all day.
If you Pray, pray for his recovery.

Thanks And GodBless.

Ginger,

Best of luck to your husband in his recovery.

Thanks.

Jamie

So sorry to hear it Ginger!! My hope and prayers are with you!!

Ginger:

Sounds like he got the catheterization in the nick of time.

He's going to be fine - so try and take it easy on yourself (I know your mind must be running a mile a minute).

Let me know if there is anything we can do for you.

Ginger, I wish you and your husband the all the best. I'll pray that he has a quick and full recovery.

Thanks Guys, Knowing my "Fauna" friends are here really helps.
I keep telling myself "I should have made him go four days ago"
He and the kids are my Life. Well, him the kids and My snakes.
Gotta laugh or I will cry.

Well ......................:)

Charlie, had a fair day after the cath & stint. I found out tonight that the blockage was actually 99%.
I have been doing alot of what if's. But am feeling blessed that we caught it in time. The pre-angio pics showed a very narrow artery, that actually appeared to have been severed at one point. The post pics, look wide and clear.
The only problem has been Charlies inability to be still. With all of the blood thinners they are very worried about the femoral incision.
Soooooo they are keeping him quite sedated.
He is not a good patient. But he is mine. Kati-An 17 and West, have been unable to visit yet and are a bit upset. I think once they see he is doing better they will be alright.
West, however only being 3 1/2, says "my Daddy's at the hospital" "I want my Daddy to come home". It is heart breaking. Charlie, is also upset that West is not allowed in the CCU. Tomorrow they said he will probaly be moved to a regular room tomorrow, if tonight goes well, and West, will be able to visit.

Thanks for you kind words thoughts and prayers.

He's Home

I brought my sweetie home today !!
He has alot of meds, but is doing very well. He has not been out of my sight since I picked him up LOL.
I am well & truly blessed. My one true love, my wonderful husband, is home and doing well, and I have wonderful friends (you all).
Thank you for your support and kind words.

Thanks Mike. Now onto the keeping him under control for the next two weeks.
I will need the patients of "Job". LOL
He is feeling great, better than before the heart attack. I guess getting a little blood flow to the heart helps.
