    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Here is a couple pics of my new additions to the family. The female is 14 lbs 13 oz and the male is 8 lbs 2 oz. I believe the female is about 6ft and the male is apporx 5ft ( those are just guesses), will get accurate lengths after they settle in. I will also get better pics after they settle in. The female has some deep orange down her sides. Gonna have to come up with some names. The female sounds like she has a minor RI, so will have to call vet and get some meds. Right now I bumped up her temps till we can get in.

Don't you just love getting new additions? I am like a kid at Christmas every time I get something new. Congrats and they are gorgeous!

I had the pleasure of meeting Bill's new Boas "in person" this morning, and I can honestly say the female is MUCH prettier in person than she even looks in the pic! The male was a bit cranky, so I didn't get as good of a look at him, but he's really nice too. :)

Dang.....I think I'm catching the "I-gotta-haves" again. I hate it when that happens.

I have always really loved all the snakes, boas and burms are what I really started with. I just don't have room for burms any more. I just couldn't pass on these 2, but I also needed something to feed retired breeder rats too, LOL!! My passion for the ball pythons has really grown into a obsession. :)

Just wait till they settle in and you get to hold her!! There will be no holding you back!! LOL!! :raspberry

Well I just got results of the fecal done on the male, he is good to go!!! :) The female hadn't eaten in 2 months according to previous owner, so couldn't do a fecal on her yet. But the previous owner kept them in the same cage :rolleyes: so she should be clean also. She had signs of a minor RI when I brought her home and have kept her warm and humidity where it is supposed to be and she ate a medium rat for me yesterday!! :thumbsup: For not eating for 2 months she is extremely fat, owner said she "might" be gravid. I have owned several boas in the past, but never attemted to breed them before. Is it common for the female to eat while being gravid? I guess I have to break out the books and get up to speed on gravid boas. I will try to take a pic of her "fatness". :hehe:
