    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Rachel, I think you must have gotten a girl by mistake. Boys don't wear that much pink!! lol Gorgeous pick up. If he's that pink now, I'd love to see him in a year or so! :)

Can you send me to camera school? I want to show my pastel jungle ph albino and he is loaded with red from a possible pastle dream x jungle het albino,cant get it to show like yours.. took it outside this morning and the sun washed out the red. what to do?

Rich, what camera are you using? I have found that shade is much better than direct sun. Also, if your camera has a manual white balance, play around with it.

I am gonna try your technique in the shade after it cools a bit.
My camer is a Kodak Z812 IS from about 6 years ago. It has so many settings on it and i never needed to use them until boa breeding.so i'm trying to get it now.
 
Definitely try the shade, makes a big difference. It looks like your camera doesn't have a manual white balance, but it has 4 different presets that you might try playing with. Take the same picture 4 times with each setting and then go look at them on your computer and see which one you like best.

My old camera was about as old as yours and I was eventually able to take pictures like this:
