    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I want to post some pics of a pastel girl I got a few months ago. She has shed for me once or twice. Then the shed before last she looked like a totally different snake. It blew my mind!!! And she's shed once again and still light as ever. I know you all know what a normal pastel looks like but in some of the pics I'm comparing her to a pastel I produced last year. I can't get over how she's lost so much of the black dingy coloration thru her body and def on her head! So take a look and let me know what cha think. Thanks for taking a peek!

The last pic in the thread above is after the color change, and also these 3 pics.

In pictures 4 & 5, the bottom right part of her, her pigmentation looks different. Kinda like a paradox for the lack of a better term, but not paradox. It looks like everything is loosing the dark pigment except for that spot. Very nice.

Right! Like she's losing the 'dirty look' that most pastels have. I just wish I had an explaination. I mean I know they change as the get older and thru many sheds, but guys this was literally over night, with one shed! I've never seen anything like it. Granted I've only been in to balls a couple years now.

Looks like a Vanilla pastel to me. Some people have low quality vanillas in there collection and think they are light colored normals. Would explain being sold as a pastel even though it has lighter color and head blush... Just a thought.....

Looking more at her, she also has a clean belly and a granitish look around the belly which are traits of vanilla. I would breed to a normal and try to prove that. Either way nice girl....

I had mentioned a vanilla pastel to my husband, but I don't know that much about the vanilla gene. And I know I sound like a broken record, but I still can't understand how she changed over night like that! I can't wait to find out what she's working with. Thanks guys!
