    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My personal worst odds

Ouch! Maybe it's a year for bad odds? I had an albino x het clutch hatch. 4 eggs, 1 albino 3 hets. Not terrible, just a little off. Mojo x normal, 2 mojo, 4 normal. Pied x TSE het pied, 8 eggs, no pieds. :rofl:

My first time breeding BP's I put a het pied to 3 normals to produce poss het pied females. Out of 3 girls only 1 went and gave me 3 eggs..... all males. :(

i wish i had a few males all my clutches so far have been females even my boa had 10 females and one male. i would rather have a few more males to even it out but at least there healthy.

I've got ya beat!

My first two clutches to hatch this year was 5 eggs from pinstripe to normal, and 5 eggs from cinnamon to normal and I got TEN normals!! I went a little looney for a few days. But I recovered. Just goes to show you, it CAN be worse. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Wow. That burns. Speaking of cinnamons...I've got a funny little story. I pair my boys up with 5 females each season. I cycle the male through the females cages. I ran my cinnamon male through 4 normal females and 1 cinnamon female. This was cool all throughout breeding season and in Feb. I stopped. Last year he got all 5 of his females impregnated(they were all normals last season). This year none of them are showing any signs. Kinda disappointing. Then 1 day, I'm cleaning cages and I get to the cinny male and guess what... He's on eggs. I had switched the cinny male and female when I rotated him through her cage. It must have been early in the season because I made notes about their patterns shortly after I started breeding them so this wouldn't happen. I didn't realize I had already switched them. Now for the kicker... Small clutch, only 3 eggs, 1 of which is a slug so now only 2 eggs. Candle the 2 eggs and 1 is bad(I incubated it anyway just in case but it's no good) so now there's only 1 good egg cooking. Chances of a super cinny... Not great. So then I'm washing the female down after pulling her eggs. I always clean them up good to get the scent off of them as well as inspect them for any issues. Guess what.... She retained an egg. I had this happen once with a corn but never with a ball. Now what? I decided to keep an eye on her and kinda wait and see. She started eating the next day and has continued since. A month later, she passed the egg.

So the 1 good egg from the cinny x cinny clutch hatched... Normal. I also bred a lesser x lesser and only got 3 eggs. 1 was bad so now 2 good eggs. Only 1 of those made it out of the egg. The other was all kinked up and never made it out. The 1 that did come out.... Normal. I think my luck is coming in spurts this year. Het clown x het clown... 6 eggs, 2 female clowns. Bee x pastel...1.1 killer bees, and I don't remember what the others were. I have a clutch of 6 eggs cooking from a pewter x spider. Hopefully this will be my biggest spurt of good luck! It can't rain all the time.

I think the odds gods were just testing you. Your next clutch will be awesome. Oh, happy birthday, you old fart. lol
