    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My son has now become a Soldier following in the footsteps of the majority of the Men in Both His Dad's & My Family.

However I still worry if he is getting enough to eat. I also worry about him making the proper choices without Mom & Dad right there to guide him.

Yeah......................I know "Let go Mom" LOL

What a beautiful photograph. Congrats to you on raising such a brave and selfless son. Good job Mom!

Thank You so much. We were concerned (and still are) about his timing.
But Lord willing he will be safe, and live a long healthy life.

He is in our prayers to remain safe. Ginger, tell him "Thank You" for my wife and I. The military has a very strong support here in San Diego, lots of work is done for the soldier's family to make sure they are taken care of while the person is out on duty. We make it a point to thank every soldier we meet. As far as food goes, I have seen many gain weight while in the service, they will not let him starve.

It takes more the being a man to sign up and protect his country and people he does not know. It will be those choices he makes (which you have taught him) that will make him a man, those choices will set the path he will follow for the rest of his life. He will be taught to protect a soldier he has never met whom he will be paired up with, to make sure that soldier does not fall behind, to be a friend, and a brother to. He will become a leader in his squadron as well as a student. His choice to serve reflects on your teachings and love you have provided him.

Thanks everyone for the support. In my heart I know he will be okay without Mom & Dad right there. But...............He will always be my little boy.
