    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Whaddup all, I got a question about shedding and eating. My first BP who has been problem free since i bought him has never refused a meal...as long as its alive. But hes been in shed for a few days now and looks really white and his eyes are a gray blue. I put a mouse in there so they can get "aquainted" and he didnt have much interest in it, they even came nose to nose and he jerked away so i fed it too my female. Is this normal during shed? Its been about a week since i fed him last and he always eats, so any clues? Thnaks for any and all advice.

Each snake is different but it's not at all uncommon for a snake to refuse food when it's in shed. I generally give them a full day after shedding til I offer food.

Ok thats what i figured and hoped. Hes eaten while in shed before though so its odd...but hopefully he'll eat after he sheds all the way. Thanks!

sometimes i offer food when I've missed the blue phase of the shed, sometimes they eat sometimes they don't. i guess some sheds are worse or maybe they are hungrier during some and don't mind eating then. If he isn't shedding in one piece, try to get all the chunks off before feeding.
