• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry MyrtleHerps??

It's her!! She got made and thought she could pawn it off of her ex boyfriend. She probably thought it'd be an easy fix cause the guy is trouble.

There is more related to this that I was looking at last night, I'll come back to it a little later.
I am unable to access either of the Amy Polly / Amy Harmon Polly facebook accounts... is anyone else seeing this too?

No, I could not find them.

But wait! There is more!

Josey Zimmerman also posted on Amy's page. Go down to the video of BEST Banana Cake! on Amy's page and you'll see 2 wild rants from Josie. Real wild.
That email address, sans provider portion, corresponds with a POF account that indicates (to me) that it is probably her rather than the claimed ex.
In that crazy rant (on her now deleted account), the ex tries to out her to the world for sleeping around etc. As proof he shared her account: carolinabuckeye73 on POF, the same one Nick pointed out.

Facebook account faked?
POF account faked?
Paypal faked?

The POF profile says:
I am a country girl at heart looking for a hard working country boy. I'm very conservative, and was raised with strong southern morals, values and ethics. My faith, family and fitness are my priorities. I live a healthy lifestyle by eating healthy and working out. I love the sun and sand, and being barefoot in the great outdoors. I hunt and fish...I can shoot right on bullseye. and yes guys I can bait my own hook and gut my own deer. And of course can't forget motorcycles, probably my favorite. I listen to country music 98% of time. And am usually wearing my jeans and cowgirl boots.
I'm a huge football fan...high school, college and NFL. Go Seahawks, Buckeyes and Panthers!!!

I just filed a dispute with PayPal, and will need to wait for their review, and resolution. I stated in my explanation that I don't wish to do business with someone who admittedly stole someone else's photos, and is trying to represent those animals as her own. I also referenced the URL of this thread.

I noticed that Amy is using a third email address: [email protected]. I'm on my work computer, and for whatever reason, I couldn't screen-shot the page. When I log in to PayPal, and click on the case number, the other email ([email protected]) is the only one that is listed.

Didn't someone who was doing some digging, come up with the name of Zimmerman, as a husband or boyfriend/ex-boyfriend? That would fit with the "aezim" Yahoo email.

Thanks, everyone, and I'll post PayPal's decision when they respond.

Kathy

Did you use the reason that you had not received it?

Yes. Amy accused me of fraud (???), because I told PayPal I didn't receive the item, which is true. There were two choices for dispute: "Item not received", and "Received, not as described". I chose the logical response, with explanation.

She's now stating that she doesn't give refunds, which was never disclosed to me until today. I'll just have to wait and see how PayPal responds. I also have buyer protection coverage with my credit card company, so I'll file a claim with them as well, if PayPal decides against me.

Kathy

Kathy,

I am glad you have initiated a dispute.
Amy may throw all she has against the wall and see if anything sticks. That includes her brand new 'no refund' claim. One common ploy is for the other party to say their funds are tied up (this can be true, Paypal will freeze the funds they have in Paypal) and will promise a refund if you will only cancel your dispute so they can get to their cash.
NEVER close a dispute until you have your $, rarely can it be reopened.
Expect all sorts of ploys and ignore them all. Wait for Paypal, and then use your cc company but I hope that your Paypal claim will be successful.

This email goes to the new Facebook account that Nick shared earlier for just Amy Harmon:
https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100011542543613

"aezim4163" also goes to some kind of makeup selling site where she seems to be involved with since 2015. https://www.bzzagent.com/user/aezim4163

She's now stating that she doesn't give refunds, which was never disclosed to me until today.
I turned her classified ad back on, the one you purchased the retic from. You can see she has no refund policy either way.

The aezim4163 is likely Amy. "E" is her middle initial and yes, Zimmerman is the last name of the guy was involved with.

Robert, thanks for that link to the ad. She took it down so quickly, I didn't get a chance to download the photos.

Interestingly, another member here contacted me privately today, and said she tried to sell him a large male purple retic last week. Don't know if it's the one I already bought, or a different one. Obviously, if it was another animal, fine, but if it was the one I already paid for, then it's not fine.

I know that I should prove that, but don't want to post a PM here. I can forward it to a moderator, if that's acceptable proof.

Laura, thanks for the info on that email; I appreciate it!

You don't need to actually post the PM here if it contains other info you don't want to share, but I have a feeling that the Mods will require that you publicly name your source.

I hope that taking about animal purchases in your dispute doesn't hurt your chances. Paypal has been known to violate their own policies regarding live animal purchases. If they do at least you can fall back on your CC. They tend to ask a lot less questions as they always try to work for whats in your best interest since you are their customer and not the seller. I hope you get your money back.

I hope not either, but I didn't see any way around it.

She has informed me that she's shipping on Tuesday, May 2nd, even though I asked her today not to. Our night temps are going to be in the 30s that night, but apparently she doesn't care if it's too cold.

Kathy - did she ever force a shipment on you yesterday? Curious if anything arrived, snake or otherwise?

Robert, no, not a word since I sent her an email last week, with a screenshot of our weather forecast (it was in the 30s here last night).

Still awaiting PayPal's decision regarding my dispute. Kinda frustrating that $850 of my funds is unavailable pending resolution.

Thanks for the follow up! I'll post the outcome when I'm notified.

Kathy, I kinda figured you weren't gonna receive anything from this person. It's been BS from the start. I was lucky enough to catch on pretty quick to their scam solely based on answers he/she was giving me to my questions through text messages and also just by how pushy she was acting yo try to get a deal done ASAP. Raised all the red flags for me which led me to open up this inquiry on her. I really hope things work out for you and that you get your money back. Two things in life that I truely hate the most liars and thieves!!

Milo, thanks for the additional info. I did include a link to this thread when I filed the PayPal dispute.

As far as I know, she did not ship the animal out on Tuesday, as I had asked her not to do. The ladies at the FedEx office know me well, and I'm certain I would have gotten a call if something showed up.
