Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Mythical Dragonz - Stay Away!

Steven/Nicole....step up and do the right thing. Take care of your customers problems. I seriously doubt that he wants another dragon from you. Refund his vet bills for the dragon you sent him.

I am very sorry for your inability understand the written word Tyler. I have written on this subject twice and you fail to comprehend. Just as you say I cannot prove anything neither can anyone else for that matter. I have stated that we tried to resolve the issue with Mike by offering him another dragon even though he broke the disclosure agreement and allowed too much time to pass. He was unhappy with our offer and declined and so here we are. It seems that you all figure that if you apply pressure in numbers we will crumple and bend to your whims. The disclosure statement is just that and you all use and have them. It seems that temperature is a problem for you all. Would you believe that many dragons have shipped in the low temps you describe without incident and no harm to the dragons. In this case you only know what is reported to have happened and no matter what is said from this keyboard it is taken as a lie. The facts are all out there and they have been very well blended by those who wish to. As I have stated already there is no proof to be had that will satisfy us. Our present position is that this BOI is at an end as the claim cannot be resolved. Seems that we have lost many possible customers because we dare to think different from some of you, but not all.
The idea of poor business ethics is a laugh. Just because of one customer and his whiny boy buddy got their licks in with a few of their cronies, tough. Just what do you do if the customer is always right and he wants the dragon shipped now. Do you tell him to get lost [ bad customer service ] or do you ship and get to read all this c***. Why would I stop someone from taking a sick animal to the vet, are you stupid. I would drive, all we want is to be notified [ you can read right ] and not days later.
I will say that we keep hearing about how our setup is unkept and terrible. Since none of you have been here, seen first hand then as Tyler said none of what you say is to be believed, right. We will post professional observations of our facility just as soon as they are available.
Just what do some of you think by calling satisfied customers and spewing this not to believed c*** on them over the phone is going to do for you. The ones we heard from were pissed that you had the nerve to insult them. Also why would you bash someone for putting up a good guy thread, is this what you want to happen to your good guy customers.
Just for the record Tommy Boy we will talk face to face when I feel like it, as I do get around.

Thanks very much for the dis-education

I'm not enitrely sure what that note has to do with anything on here ...

You're a joke. You're business is a joke. You're TOS are a joke. You're logic is a joke. You're immaturity is a joke. You're "business partner" is a joke but her sordid reputation is not.

The OP broke your disclosure agreement (which is moronic) and he waited too long to tell you (a 24 hour guarantee is ludacris, especially when you ship the animal in subpar weather), but okay, we get it, you are not going to do anything about it because you and your girlfriend are lousy human beings with lousy ethics and care for only what you can make without any regard to your customers.

I guess the way you see it is, well I am selling the animal, so it is their problem now.

It's okay. You guys will hang yourselves soon enough. Things roll down hill and this started it, so ... see you at the bottom.

Yay for grammar fail. Most of those "you're" should be "your", but the fact still remains.

You have no business dealing in live animals.

The disclosure agreement ..... are you on crack

If I paid $300 for a sick animal that needed another $150 sunk into it because of vet fee's. I wouldnt want another one of your animals either.

It sounds like he has the dragon on the road to recovery. Refund the vet costs and be done with this!

I have NEVER had a disclosure clause and I never will. If your unhappy with my service and I cant fix it to your satisfaction for some reason. Then by all means put me out on front street.

Actually the idea of your poor business eithics in NOT a laugh... its a down right shame.

Profssional obversations.... Just as soon as they are available. How in the :censored: are you posting that document in the same post where you say it will be posted ASAP. The only way I can see is if you made it up on the spot. :shootfoot

This is really sad, Look at how sad you are. If you bought a dragon, and you received it the way your customer did. (respiratory illness an full of parasites) Wouldn't you too be dis satisfied?

Steven,

you need to remove the ignorance from your post, and address your customer and not try to take small digs and shots at others. Did you get a hard time in this thread? You damn right you did. But only because you are WRONG! Not only have i said so........ BUT many others seem to think the same way. :yesnod:

An to be honest. You would be getting the same response from the rest of us, even if nicole was NOT involved. What your doing is wrong. An I guess no matter how old you are,(not a dig at your age, just expected better from a older man i guess) you wont see that. Your suppose to be the experienced breeder. To be there for your customers when they need you. Not sell a dragon and say "not my problem anymore."

The name slandering pitch fork carrying mob, As you are calling us. Are just the opposite. We are a community of decent people, we only want breeders and reptile business's to do the right thing. To be responsible for there actions, and to care for there animals properly. An with new buyers having bad experiences (like the one with you and Mike) Your driving new buyers away, or making them leery of doing business because of there bad experience. So when the community see's someone that is ruining the rep us decent people built. We speak up.

I want you to think about something steven and nicole. A month ago, your life's were perfect. Your rep, may not have been good, but it wasnt bad.
I posted you for being your shady sneaky criminal self hiding behind a new buss name and a new sales name, "steven". An even then, no one including me was ruining your only gg thread. that I am sure you asked Mac to post.
No one including me were posting in your classifieds, repeatably.
We said our peace in that thread and thats where it stayed.

So if you two haven't got the big picture of that paragraph, let me explain it to you.
You two brought this one down on your own heads. Without the help of the "community". It was just the community that came to the aid of the person who was in the right. Which just so happened to be Mike. I mean i didnt see ONE person say Mike was wrong. Unless i miss that post?:shrug01:.

If this was a jury trial by your peers, you would have been found guilty. BUT because there is no consequences you think you have a right to treat people this way, and con them into buying your sick dragons and leaving them stuck with the vet bill. Well MR/MRS steven EVERY TIME you do this to a customer. the community will be here. An please believe were taking more action than you can see.

Its pretty sad to see hear that you had a spca officer at your house. An the fact that you need a note from a wildlife rescue saying you facility was "sanitary". :yesnod:

I'm not defending either Nicole, or Steven, but you guys need to read a little closer. I notice this quoted a lot...

MythicalDragonz said:
if you choose to contact other breeders or a vet before contacting us your guarantees are void.[/QUOTE/]

People seem to be reading right past the part where it says, "before contacting us" and concentrating on "your guarantees are void".

Maybe I'm the one reading this wrong, but the way I read it, if you contact them first, then contact a vet, you followed their written policy, so the guarantee should be honored. If you didn't contact them first, then you didn't follow their written terms, and chance voiding the guarantee. :shrug01:

I'm not in any way justifying either one of them or their lack of ability to do the right thing. We all know that the right thing to do is refund the money, and own up to the fact that a sick reptile was sent out, and make that right too. But harping on a single sentence of their TOS, which is written in plain as day English, is not going to accomplish much.

My 2¢
Rick

I see where you're coming from Rich, but I fail to understand why they need to be contacted before medical attention is provided for their "guarantee" to withstand...

Why should they have the final say as to weather or not the animal needs to be seen by a doctor? If it was me, I know I wouldn't wait around until I heard back from Steven/Nicole to say, "yeah, go ahead and take it to the vet". I would just go if I felt like the animal needed to go.

What I do is NOT ship until weather conditions permit me to do so without risk to my animal! Maybe I risk losing the customer, but most customers ARE actually understanding of this. If not, I'd rather not have them as my customer.

But since you've shown again and again by your own statements that you only care about the $$$, of course you chose to ship in sub-par conditions because you were afraid of losing the sale!! Now that you've got his money, you aren't letting go of a dime of it....no matter how in the wrong you are!

And since YOU brought this up, please post the e-mail where Mike DEMANDED that you ship NOW. If you can do that one thing, I'll back-off. If you cannot do so, I will continue to hound you to do the right thing. Your choice.

he should be able to do that easy enough, just has to go back and edit the orignal email from mike ;)

I tried researching the business that wrote to you: http://www.animalshelter.org/shelters/Reptile_Rescue_of_Erie_Pa_rId7684_rS_pC.html

It appears to be a dead end, they don't even have any animals listed. However, it did give an address.

More research shows the address to be listed as residential property; 702 Cascade Street Erie PA: http://www.trulia.com/property-sitemap/PA/Erie/16502/Cascade_Street/
This 4 bedroom, 1 bathroom home has 1,352 square feet and was built in 1906; it appears to have been sold: 702 Cascade St, Erie PA SOLD on May 24, 2004 http://www.trulia.com/homes/Pennsylvania/Erie/sold/217482-702-Cascade-St-Erie-PA-16502

A search in the Erie phone book of an Lea Chase revealed nothing.

A search in the Yellow Pages of Erie, PA revealed:
No Matches for "Reptile Rescue of Erie, PA" near "Erie, PA"

It would be nice if there was some kind of evidence that this is a business and a person actually ran it.

Others are free to do more research...:)

I Agree completely, and likely would do the same.

Just seemed to be picking at that one line in the TOS and it didn't make sense to me. :shrug01:

Ummmm I already have. I sent out an email to Lea last night to let her know her name is being tossed around and I have not gotten a repsonse. It was even a friendly email to. You'd think that if it was a reptile rescue they would be checking thier communicatons at least in the morning.

They also have a website.... but every page says UnderConstruction. :shrug01:

Im thinking this may be another one of Nicoles ploys at deflection.

I have stated that we tried to resolve the issue with Mike by offering him another dragon even though he broke the disclosure agreement and allowed too much time to pass.

Nicole,
First off, your "disclosure agreement" and guarantee are a joke. They were not posted on the original ad and are not showing up anywhere it could be accessed since you do not have a functioning web site. You have also conveniently deleted every post you had with an animal for sale for some reason prior to December. Why is that, wouldn't it be better to mark as "Sold" so you could at least get some free advertising for past animals?

Again, why do I want another dragon from you down the road when the first one I received from you has been in a separate room quarantined and sick for a month?

If you look at my original post, my email to you on the 11th questioned the health of the dragon as she had her first bowel movement that day. I am not sure how I could have let you know in the first 24 hours of receiving her that there was an issue with parasites. I guess you would know better since you are a formally trained...wait... self-trained veterinarian.

As far as the demand of shipping, I have already proven you lied in stating it was my choice as to when the dragon was shipped. I have posted my cell phone communication and show that no phone calls or texts were either received from or made to you on either 12/5 or 12/6 as stated in your earlier email.

If I recall, you also sent several other dragons on the same day. Did all those owners also call up and demand their dragons be sent as well?

What was the outcome of your complaint with LLLReptile for the bad heat packs?

I have also called you out as a liar in stating that all my correspondence was with Steven as you stated earlier in this thread and that I had "never spoken with Nicole". If you recall, Steven called me and when I asked him directly if I had EVER spoken with him he said no. Funny you havent replied to any of those statements. It seems once you are "outed" on one issue you go to the next.

Let me ask two things of Nicole and Steven that can put everything to rest. What is it going to take to prove the dragon that was taken to the vet, that I have given injections and oral medications to, is the same dragon you sold me?

Also, once this proof has been provided, what will your action be?

I have stated before on here I am not after any monetary reimbursement at this point. However, with the continued arrogance of Nicole and Steven not taking responsibility, I have changed my tune. I will ask for $100. When the proof the dragon is one and the same and the funds are received from Nicole and Steven, I will donate that $100 to the Hoosier Herpetological Society.
