    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey everybody-

I am going to be purchasing two female balls 400+ and 600+ grams. Could someone please tell me around what size mice they will be eating. Thank you.

The general rule of thumb is that the prey size be about 3/4 the size of the thickest part of the snake that is eating it. Not knowing whether your snake is long & lean or short & chunky makes it hard to answer. I would say check the size of a small rat (this is also subjective, depending on who you are getting it from) and if it is not bigger than the snake is round, start there. Be advised though, that the snake will either not eat it if it is too big (although there may be other reasons it doesn't eat), or could possibly regurge if it is.
Good luck.

When feeding newly acquired animals, less is more, Tuesday. You'll get a feel for their eating preferences, rate of digestion, food preferences etc. in a fairly short period of time. Start with a prey item you know she can handle (based on the weights you gave a weaned rat sounds like a real safe play) and work your weigh up. I have 300 gram BP's that eat small rats and digest them in 3 days. I have fully grown adult females at 2000 grams that eat mice only. You just have to get to know them.
