    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was thinking of getting a Cham. but realized I'm not quite experinced for one of those. Now I have a big screen cage, can I put a Gecko in one of those? I'd imagine I could cause what I would do is put Saran Wrap around the sides and the back for humidity, now would I use just a regular bowl for water or should I use a mist or dripper system? I got alot more questions but I'll stop there. Thanx
 
Is there anyway you can post a picture of the cage in question? That would be a good place to start.
 
I wish I could, but it's one of the those that you could buy at petsmart or petco. It's a little more than 3 foot tall and 2.5 feet wide. Wish I could give you more info. Thanx!!
 
Crested geckos are easy to keep and do really well in those screen cages. You might want to look up some care sheets and post on the gecko forum. Leos are terrestrial and enclosures that maximize floor area are best. Cresteds are arboreal so they'll make good use of the vertical space.

I agree with Alice, even though your cage may seem huge, the floor is the only part that a leopard gecko would use. I would definitely recommend a crested gecko, but be sure that you know how to care for it 100% before you buy it.
 
If the cage is three feet tall you can just turn it on its side to maximize floor space for the leo. That is larger than a 10gallon tank for sure. I think I know what kind of cage you are talking about the reptariums or whatever, I have seen them at petsmart.
 
Yeah you can lay them whichever way is best for the herp you put in it, and the saran wrap would be unneeded with a leo, they need low humidity, max of 40% and mine stay at 20%

Don't have any cresties so I don't know what humidity they need.
