    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm posting this for a friend who could really use some help.
He took me over his house yesterday because he said he wanted me to look at his geckos and see what I thought was wrong with them.
Wow was it a grizzly sight!

2 appear to have Crypto, 1 has died from it, they both have weird eye infections that is actually killing the eyeball. (one came out last night and it was just a hard puss ball with no eye in the socket)

The other has a really huge cyst or something on the underside of his head.

I asked him what happened and he told me he bought a new gecko, didn't know he was supposed to quarantine it ect, and then it died and the others got sick. Great pet store people I tell you what.

So the one that apparently got everyone else infected was taken to the vet, and he paid $200 and it died, so he's really in need of some good honest help. He doesn't have much money as it's still summer in florida and there is no business, but he cares about his pets enough to at least pay $200 to save one when there's barely enough to pay the mortgage.

Can somebody Please advise on where he can find a Vet that will work with his budget and not charge him $200 to tinker with a gecko that's obviously going to die anyways?

Fort Lauderdale Area.
