In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Need advice on what to get...

First of all, I'm a small breeder. I'm a law school student who just breeds snakes because I love the hobby. Now, I'm looking to get into some new stuff as I really only have 1 project for this year and I think I could handle at least one or two more. I'm getting a female Desert on Wednesday which I'm extremely excited about, but I want a couple more to breed in the future. I was thinking about getting a clown, mystic or kingpin etc. I'll post what I have currently and any advice would be great! I've got some other stuff, but really just looking for ball python suggestions.

0.1 Axanthic bumblebee 1500g and 1.0 Pastel het Axanthic 530g (current project)

1.0 Spider
0.1 Pastel
0.1 Desert
1.1 Angolan
1.1 CBLT boa

I feel that you should get whatever interests you, whatever crosses you really like and admire. Go for those.

No matter who you are, everyone has their favorite bases and crosses.
With all of the morphs out there you have plenty to pick from!

Good luck =]

I really like the pastel clowns and especially the killer clowns. So, that's definitely a place to start. I was just trying to see if I have overlooked anything that somebody else may have thought of.

Now with Clown being a recessive you're gonna have to wait at least another year for the pastel clowns unless you have a pastel het clown and het clown to cross... If you breed a clown het ax with your pastel het ax and come out with an ax het clown then breed back to the female clown het ax to create some ax clowns.. those would be something to see :) Just my opinion though!

I would be interested in seeing what a clown Het Ax would produce with your pastel het ax :)

SSSSHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Quit telling everyone my super secret project!!!!!!

My whole goal in life is to pop out the killer axanthic clown, and when I do I'll call it a "Mime!":D If u get a male clown and tag it to that female axanthic bumble bee next year Ill be more than willing to sell u my soul for a couple of those babies!!!!:dgrin:

(seriously tho if u go with that pairing lemme know!!!)

so have I its a fresh hatched clutch shot.

Reason I want to do that is because I havent ever seen anyone try to cross them and after seeing the killer clown and killer axanthic, I would kill to see what they look like in one snake!!!

Yea I just went looking again, it was produced by reptile image. Too bad it was SK line. My preference is towards the VPI line. Dont worry about trying to produce them, ill have some for u guys in a couple years :D

See I knew I shoulda never said anything!! :D

If u do start one id be interested in offspring, maybe some trades if were working with same quality animals and keep our genetics as unrelated as possible!

Tho im still in the need of a couple animals to really get it going!
