    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

well i was thinking of getting a female guyana boa,and i was just looking for them on the net,and i can't find a average price on them so i thought well go to all of you for advice..so how much will a good guyana boa female go for?
thank you all for the help..

It all depends on size, age, proven or not, genetics, etc...

For instance, I gave 350 dollars trade value for my big girl..

well she is a baby and she has like a blue/gray tint to her

What would a reasonable market price be for a male Guyana that has gorgeous colors (silver, contrasting back pattern, bright red tail that looks like velvet), is 2.5 feet in length, and weighs (roughly) 300-400g? What would a comparison price be for a female of the same size/color/weight?

I don't necessarily mean pet shop price, I'm more curious about market price on sites like Fauna, Kingsnake, etc.

The average price for import baby Guyanan RT's is $150-$275. Captive bred and born babies from the breeder are $300-$350 with the "picks" up to about $500.

What characteristics/traits make a certain animal a "top pick"? I've been in to ball pythons for a few years but am a complete noob when it comes to boas. Someone local has a CBB Guyana (unknown gender, I have to probe it) and I'm debating whether I want to buy it to resell it or keep it myself.
