    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a man who wants to send me a snake from california. I live in florida. But he wants me to take care of the shipping label and box. He will send it. Since its up for adoption. but he doesnt want to spend a dime. i need to take care of shipping. :shrug01:What info do i need from him apart from the address which i have. And how do i go about it. i really need some help with this tonight. :shrug01:
 
That is very common with adoptions. If the snake is free, I wouldnt balk about paying shipping costs. I assume you are reimbursing him with paypal? If so, this is a very safe way to exchange funds. Theres really no way he could get away with just taking your money and not sending you the animal he described. All his info should be on his paypal account as well. Good luck with your new cutie!
 
no no no.....he dont want ANY money. He just Wants the box, the shipping label. THATS it. all he wants to be concerned with is dropping the box off at fed ex for shipping
 
Usually, he would tell you how much shipping and supplies would be and then you would just front him the money to pay for them. It's much easier for him to get the shipping label and box himself.
 
ahhhh...forget it. I just cancelled it. I dont wanna waste this guys time. Its a beautiful snake. He will easily get someone close to him to pick it up. wanna smash my head against a wall.
 
I saw this same situation with another customer last week.

SYR user purchased a shipping kit, had it sent to the snake owner's address.

Once the packaging was in hand...

SYR user then booked the shipping label on their account and emailed it to the snake owner. Snake owner packaged it up, attached the label, dropped it off, and SYR user had their snake the next morning.

Just beware- there are a few different ways to flim flam a generous person into sending money, free packaging, snakes, or other valuables through the "I'm broke, you have to help pay for all of this" type scam.
