    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

im building an outdoor cage for my bearded dragon and i need to know what materials to use, where to buy it all from, what i should do for water and keeping food from escaping, cage demensions, protection from possible predators, placement according to the sun/shade, decorations, etc. any information would be very much appreciated. please email me at [email protected] thank you and have a nice day

The climate in Illinois is not suited for a Bearded Dragon's needs......the humidity is too high, and the temps are not going to be sufficient for the most part, especially overnight. Something to think about.....how can you ensure that he will have a basking spot every day of 105-110 degrees, even on cloudy or rainy days, and maintain a low side temp in the 80s?

It would be nice to have a temporary enclosure outside for him to just get some real sunlight a couple of hours a day on warm days, but it just wouldn't be a good idea for him to live outside here in the midwest.

If you're talking of just an enclosure for him to be in for awhile on nice warm days, a large screen cage will do, and it doesn't need to be anything elaborate, just as long as they have a sunny area and an area where they can get out of the sun as well if they desire to, as well as protecting them from predators and any dangerous insects.

look no farther than

agama international or Bert langerwolf or whatever his name is. Do a search. He is famous for outdoor pens/enclosers and i have met him numerous times at my past reptile vending days of Birmingham Alabama and other reptile expos. But yes. not to be done in some places but the heat factor with shade and such must not be a problem with him as to the warm climate of southern Alabama and the high humidity. He,fortunately is able to keep almost all of his agamas, teiids and other species outdoors year round, Something that us northerners can't do of course. And next would be predators even in cats of domestic and feral nature, Hmmmmmm, how about pesty little things like ants and bugs ?....
