In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Need help with an ID -.-

I'm embarrassed to even post this but I honestly have no clue. We picked up some ball pythons from a guy who couldn't keep them anymore, and one of the males was given to us as a yellowbelly. If this is a yellowbelly he's the cleanest one I've ever seen (meaning I don't think he is one).

I have no idea WHAT he is though...my first thought was a fire, but when I saw him by our other fire it's not even close. I posted some pics of him by himself, next to our YB male, next to our fire male, and also a belly pic. Any input would be incredibly appreciated, I'm lost on him.

Also, I apologize beforehand for the lighting...these were taken in my bathroom with a cellphone. I'm hoping the comparison pics can give a fairly good idea of the color he has going on.

I know that normals have a lot of variation, but he doesn't look like any normal I've ever seen. I'll get a pic of him next to some of my lightest normals for comparison

Thank could be a good idea, nowadays there's a lot of variations of genes. The best thing you can do is decide if you want that dinker project and prove the gene out yourself

Not even close. I don't think he's something new, I'm sure it's a morph that I just have no idea what it is. If I thought there was any chance he was normal I wouldn't even have posted him, his color is way off for not being something.

My only guess is that maybe he's a het? I know both of my clown hets are a lot oranger in color than normals, but he also has quite a bit of blushing going on. That's why I say, I have no idea.

It's hard to get pics of his head or to get him to straighten out. The guy obviously didn't pay attention to him very much as he has super retained eyecaps. I soaked him for about a half hour the other day and still couldn't get a layer off, so he's going to the vet as soon as possible.

Good thing is he took a rat the first time I offered so at least he's still eating ok.

If you want to see him next to any morphs just let me know, I can't even think of what I'd breed him with to test him out as anything. I'm worried I'd end up with an entire clutch I couldn't ID.

Oh hey, more pictures. I really need to start paying attention to see if there is a second page lol. I can see why you're thinking fire but it's not screaming fire to me at least this deleteI really need to start paying attention to see if there is a second page lol. I can see why you're thinking fire but it's not screaming fire to me.maybe a vanilla instead?

Lets try that again... Oh hey, more pictures. I really need to start paying attention to see if there is a second page lol. I can see why you're thinking fire but it's not screaming fire to me. Maybe a vanilla instead?

Not a YB. You are correct there.

Fires have variety, as can Normals (of which, some can be rather light) and "several" other morphs.

My thought, and I could be wrong, was Sulfur.

You may just have to test breed to figure out what it really is and be 100% certain about it.;)
