Hi everyone...new user/poster here and I need some input.
I live in a rather large apartment, but not big enough to have a dedicated "reptile room", so I would like some opinions as to which room would be best to keep my snakes.
I have two options:
First is my entry room. Lots of light and space, but it is by the front door and it's where i enter and exit and my guests as well. It gets traffic throughout the day, but I don't "hang out" in that room for hours.
My other option is my living room...not as much sunlight, but not nearly as much through traffic, BUT that's where my TV is so when I'm watching, I am in there for a few hours (yeah I like TV).
Which room do you think would be better for the snakes in the long run? I'm leaning towards the living room since even though I would be there with them for a while, there wouldn't be as much back and forth and movement by their cages, but the TV light and sound may bother them at night.
Btw, I have a western Hognose (diurnal) and a Halmahera boa (nocturnal).
Any input ny my fellow snake keepers would be awesome. Thanks guys.
