    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey I'm new to breeding retics and I have some ?s I need help with. Well I have a male lav. Albino and a male selayer. And I was going to pick up today a female sunfire, to breed to my albino but some one told me I can't get albinos that way but to breed her to the selayer. So can some one help me with this
 
you wont get albinos, the albino gene is a recessive gene therefore you need 2 copies on each side of the parents (one copy of each of the albino gene per parent i should say) in order to produce visual albinos. a male lavender breed to a female sunfire will produce sunfire 100% het albinos & 100% het albinos. the sunfire gene is a co-dominate gene. meaning you only need 1 copy of the gene to produce visuals. from the sunfire to the selayer youll get roughly half sunfires half normals. (and if your selayer is a pure blooded selayer, anything you plug into him will be half dwarf.)

Lavender albino x Sunfire=

50% Normals 100% het albino
50% Sunfires 100% het albino

it all depends on what you like, what you want to work with and whats in your price range. there are lots of retic morphs out there for every price range. if you ask here i can explain those to you as well, or can direct you to someone who can.
 
Yeah I see the prices high! But I think I'm going to get her because she a good price and ready to breed and work with the baby's but I would like to do something with dwarfs
 
with the male selayer you have and the female sunfire you'll make 50% dwarfs (you lose half the dwarf blood in the mainland female)
 
that makes a sunselayer. but the higher % of the selayer will make them "pop" more colour wise. (as in breed another sunselayer to a selayer to up the % to 75%)
