    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If you haven't already, I would quarantine her away from the others. Have you tried soaking her to make sure she is not impacted? I would also suggest trying a few wax worms to try and bump up her weight. Also are you using UVB lighting on them? If not you need to. As for what she would weigh, I don't know as I don't weigh my critters but she is definitely on the skinny side.

i put her to soak today as i also thought impaction i did quarantine her away from the other dragons to ensure that if it is something wrong they wont get it i will pick up some wax worms today and try to put some weight back on she is nothing like she looked like a few weeks ago i am using a uvb strip light on all of them she hasnt been eating well for me only greens when i am not in the room how can i get her to take the wax worms? thanks for your help

If she is only eating greens i would try and put the wax worms in with the greens. Try a bowl that they wouldn't climb out of but she would be able to get to. Count the wax worms you put in to make sure you know if she ate any and how many.

Thanks I will try that.

She is on something called desert blend she has been on it for about 2months I cleaned out the entire tank 3days ago and out her as well as the rest of the dragons on paper towels or newspaper I was worried about impaction which is why I put them on paper

All of those types of substrate can cause impaction, including the calcium type sands. I was in a pet store once and talking with their reptile manager, he asked if I had any idea why the leopard geckos were dying. They were on the colored [ blue ] reptile " calcium sand ' and I picked a gecko up, turned it over and through the transparent belly you could see the intestinal tract loaded with blue. It was plainly obvious what caused their deaths...impaction. So, if you suspect impaction, keep soaking in lukewarm water...just 5 minutes at a time. You can also try to get a bit of vegetable oil in her with a syringe. This may grease it through if there's an impaction.

Thanks a lot how would I know for sure if she is impacted and also will newspaper be a better substrate? If not what is the best to use thanks so much

Newspaper is fine...the only way to be certain of an impaction is by X-ray. But if she hasn't had a bowel movement in a while , this may indicate that she's impacted. How long has it been ? If it's been awhile, you can try the vegetable oil , it won't hurt anything.

It has been a while since she has passed I thought it was cause she hasnt eaten much I will give her some vegetable oil and hopefully that will losen it up and recommended ammount to give?

Just a few drops should help. VERY gently wedge the syringe between her lips and give it to her that way. If she is extremely lethargic, you should see about a vet visit.

She isn't very lethargic just not eating much she is active walking around the cage and normal behavior just can't seem to get her eating right I will give her a few drops today and keep you posted on any iregular behavior or if she does pass and gets back to her normal eating habbits Thanksgiving for your help
