In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Need melamine rack plans

i believe I used an 8X8 sheet of melamine and Lowes actually cut it for me so it was very precise and right on. I know for my 32 qt tubs these measurements work absolutely perfect for me. 15 1/2 wide and 24 deep for the shelves. Then i just took the two remaining pieces and screwed my shelves in between and it fit perfectly.

The tub style is a KIS Omni box. I picked mine up at K-mart for $6.00 bucks.

Also look up snake racks on youtube, there are a lot of great videos on ideas as well as the necessary steps to complete it. Very informative, and thats where I got an idea for the right rack for me! Good Luck.

For 6qt hatchling....

You can cut a 4x8 sheet of melamine into 7 - 13.5" x 4' strips. Put 2 of them aside and cut the remaining 5 in half so you end up with 10 - 13.5" x 2' shelves and the 2 - 13.5" x 4' sides. Pick up a piece of 2' x 4' pegboard and some screws and follow the steps to put it together from pretty much any other write up.

I use sterilite boxes from big lots and can get 8 shelves with 3 boxes each for a total of 24. I always have a left over shelf, but use it to make a kick plate for the bottom.
