Need opinions on a bad deal with Tim Bowles of Arboreals of the Rainforest!!!

Ok lets turn this around on your Mr. Bowels. What if all Matt's animals tested negative (including the ones he sold) except the one he got from you. What do you now say? Not a damn thing because the animal arrived from you in deplorable condition, and tested positive for a deadly virus. Therefore the animal came from you in a substandard condition and you are the one responsible for it 100%. Also I did read on the virus and the test results and they stated that the incubation period was longer than what the time was that Matt had the animal after receiving it from you but not long enough to have originated from him when he sold it to you.

Also I have not just heard 1 side of the story and believed it. We (including myself) have been shown physical proof fo this and made our decisions on that. You have been the one that has been playing scared little man and not responding to the questions put to you.

Well Tim Matt was unhappy with the snake when he opened the box, you choose not to refund his money. It was found out later that the snake had the virus so what does that have to do with Matt wanting a refund ? Nothing ! The virus was a secondary blow.

Lets look at it like this, How long did Matt have the animal before you bought it ?

You did purchase a import aniamal, so Even if the snake had the virus it is not Matts fault because you purchased the import. Did Matt sell it to you with a vet record ? I did not think so. It was a imported animal, you take hits with them.

Again you still sent a snake that Matt was not happy with, you chose to rip him off. You will never be released from your wrong doings.

Once again we see the Guilty party pointing fingers at another and not addressing the simple questions put forth to them. There is no reason EVER that you should have sent that animal out in that condition that you did and specially after making the person pre-pay that much for it. You are the textbook example of a BAD GUY period! No ifs, ands or buts about it. Tim just be a man and stop trying to pawn off your responsibility on others and quit trying to get away with being a dirt bag. You and you alone have ruined your reputation on this board, in the Arboreal arena, and elsewhere in most cases. People have seen this thread and what you have done and there is no way to lie and get away with it. I for one can't wait for the court hearing and would love to make the trip there just to see your face when the Judge finds in Matt's favor and orders you to pay ALL of his expenses.

I, for one, am very interested in hearing others results. If I remember correctly, many people involved with this thread have repeatedly asked for Tim's former and current customers to have their snakes tested, because the nature of this virus gives that if one in his collection has it, others will have it as well. So what happens, from what I can tell.. others have tested their snakes with *negative* results.

I could be wrong, but some of you complaining about him wanting others to show their reports.. are the same that were behind those people getting them. Do you not want to see the results since they do not seem to be coming in for your favor?

Funny how I have not had 1 complaint about my quarantine practices yet. Well I certainly did a great job of quarantining the only two animals I ever bought from Tim Bowles. Lucky for me I guess. One had abad resp. infection upon arrival and the other....well we all know what was up with that animal

You should really read up on the virus and the tests results and know what your talking about before you speak Rob. You have only heard one side of the story and believed it all.
Well my side of the story is the truth. We have already heard many different versions of your side but I have stuck to one explination which is the truth so how can it not be believed.

So which version are you going by these days....All of the problems occured during shipping? UPS mishandled the box? The animal was in perfect condition when you shipped it? I unloaded the animal on you? I knew it was screwwd up when I bought it? Which one of these is the version of the week...I have heard so many now it's incredible.

So lets say for a hypothetical conversation that all my animals tested negative(with exception of the one that alleged to be positive), now what can you say Rob? That's right Rob, nothing intelligent but oops I guess I was a sucker for believing only one side of the story.
Rob....lets say for hypothetical conversation that I got shipped a healthy snake....would any of this be happening.....?

It is ok I did not mind his attack on me. It just goes to show a little more of his mentality and intelligence. I did read up on the virus, did research, and came to my own conclusions from the proof that was shown. He knowingly sent the animal to you in such atrocious condition that he should be arrested for animal cruelty. I can't wait for the ruling you will be getting in court soon Matt.!

Considering the two vets that actually had the animal at their facility, the lab that did the work, and oh lets see.....the lab that did the pathology work ALL said the animal was infected....I would go with what they say and not someone that never saw the animal. If you would like to struggle to try and make yourself look innocent......go right ahead but in my opinion 100% of the people that have seen all of the evidence have a very good idea of what happened

How can you possibly send a snake in perfect condition and then later say I unloaded the animal?

How can you say I bought the snake knowing all of this was wrong with it and you then say that all of the damage occured during shipping?

If I were you I would get my stories straight BEFORE the 24th because judges don't like inconsistancies in stories and non truths in their courtroom.

Luckily the one I got from Arboreals of the Rainforest didn't have a chance to spread it's disease here before its demise. Class act and quality animals all the way
