• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hello! I was wondering if there were any breeders in Baton Rouge, Louisiana that could help me out? I moved there for 6 months before moving back to my home state and due to a nasty divorce between my parents my 3 pet snakes are stranded there. I was wondering if there were any breeders in LA that would ship my snakes to me in a month or so once I'm settled? They are 3 ball pythons, all adults and all very friendly. These snakes are basically my kids and I miss them dearly. My mom has no clue how to ship snakes and neither do I. All expenses will be paid and my mom will bring them to the post office, they just have to be properly settled into shipping boxes. I am willing to pay for the cost of the shipping supplies.

Snakes should *never* be shipped via the post office (usps).
Wish I could help, by shipping for you, but I don't live in Louisiana.
If you don't find anybody, to help, you (&/or your mom) should go to Ship Your Reptiles:
https://shipyourreptiles.com/
You can ship your snakes through them (using FedEx as carrier).
Also, at their site, you can find shipping instructions (how to package/ship), purchase all needed shipping supplies, etc.

I would 2nd Deb's advice about SYR. It's a lot easier to ship out a snake than people think. Plus there are multiple step by step videos on YouTube about the subject
