    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm getting 5 female BP's in about 3 weeks. They are all about 600-900grams.
I'm trying to start buying everything i will need for them, but i can find anything about the sizing of the tubs that i will need. They all will be in tubs except the mojave and spider ball the i will be getting, and i will also need some help with how to build and incubator.

Any bit of info helps so please do share :)

Thanks, Channing

You're in the 28-32 quart range for tubs. They'll be a little bit roomy at first, so try a hide box if they don't want to eat. The Rubbermaid 28 quarts are model 2221 and I don't know the Sterilite 32 quart model number but you can get them at target. As far as building an incubator. I'll let somebody else tackle that one, I use a converted refrigerator.

Hey Channing,
Who are you getting those from?? :D Those weights are several months old. They're much bigger than that now. I just don't want to re-weigh them because then I would have to adjust their prices as well. I have all the girls in 41qt tubs now and they like it in there. They also have room to grow so you won't need to be upgrading a year from now. You can put the mojo and spider in tubs too. I start them out in shoeboxes and then go to 28qt for the males. What's cool about the Sterilite tubs is that you can build a rack that will fit many different size tubs. The 12qt tubs fit in the same size hole as the 28 and 41qt so If you build a rack that will fit a 41qt tub, you can start out smaller and just swap out the tubs as they grow. You won't need a whole new rack.

Nah. You should always ask around. Get as many different opinions as possible and then make your own decision. Never go exclusively on what 1 person says. :thumbsup:

While I agree with Chris that you should always ask around for info & help...gotta tell ya, Chris knows what he's talking about.
I don't know how many snakes you're getting from him, but I bet you they'll be fat & happy!
