    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Those of you that know me.. know I like to sing, and do karaoke here and there.

Well.. a friend of mine "made" me enter a karaoke contest. It is a 6 week long contest, based on "american idol". Each week you do a different song (and cannot be the same as anyone else).. you are not only judged on your singing, but also your performance (which I struggle with when nervous)

I have a long list of songs I enjoy doing.. but.. each week, they tell you what genre you will be doing the week before you do it...

Therein lies my issue. I am very eclectic.. and have a lot of stuff that I sing/listen to that is different.. but.. I know VERY little country..

so.. give me some good song suggestions please.. I have songs chosen for oldies, R&B, 80s rock.. I need some other stuff!!

What do you think of this? Your voice kind of fits with it...and the crowd will love it. You have a great voice, BTW

 
Oooh, good suggestion Maia! I kinda thought about that one, but am also worried that it is popular enough that others will do it..

But.. I will work on it for sure just in case!!!
