    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Lord what a dummy I am! I was at work waiting on window guys to show up. I was standing out front and one of the secretaries walked up and starting chatting with me.

She says wow look at that Ivy growing up the building. I said, that was fast it wasn't there last week. So I ripped it down.

That night I was itching but no blisters. Get up next morning and I have the crap all over me! Poison Ivy!!!

When I was a teen I was severely allergic to it. I have a lot of spots now but under control. Couple area's already dried up. Between the fingers is the worst. Drive you mad.

Double doses of benedryl so I got some good sleep past couple days. I got a product called Ivarest which really helps. Has calamine, benzyl and hydrocloride in it.

I had my mind on 10 different things and didn't think twice about pulling ivy down. I needed to get a crew of 5 window guys started which is not easy in a police dept. Also had water boiler guy coming to replace motor under warranty and needed to run and pick up a blower motor for one of the a/c's.

I luckily on got some on neck and ear and missed my face. Right ear looks almost twice size of other one! lol.
 
I am so fortunate not to have poison over where we live.
We have poison oak here.
I am amune to that so I guess I’m double lucky.

On another note...
When my brother and I were growing up in the 70’s our family had hills of acreage.
Way way way back on one of the false top hills was my older brothers weed garden.
Well one day by older brother had to wipe.
Took him out for over two weeks.
Yup I laughed.
