Hi everybody,
I'm getting a bit worried and I would like to hear what you guys think.
A year ago I bought a Tessera, pair of Coral Ghost, Miami Motley and a Avalanche from Florian, everything went fine even though he forgot to ship the package so I waited a whole day for nothing. But that's ok, they arrived. Ate fine and are still growing strong.
I spend € 4000,00 Euro's on some snakes with Florian, I bought:
1.1 Butter Sunkissed
1.1 Ghost Lavender Sunkissed
1.1 Fluorescent Orange
1.1 Lavender Sunkissed
1.0 Hypo Ashy
0.2 Hypo poss. het. Ashy
1.0 Caramel Sunkissed
0.1 Amber Sunkissed
I got the box and he actually added about 8 snakes that only eat live food.
One of them was so skinny I'm pretty sure it'll die in a few days and never ate at all.
Anyway since I didn't pay for these animals I'm not allowed to question them.
I did not receive the Lavender Sunkissed male, I asked about it and he said he would be away for 4 days to his friends wedding. Anyway that's now more then a week ago and after several emails to him and pm's on the cornsnakes forum I still have no reply.
Also the "Hypo Ashy" doesn't look like a Hypo Ashy at all, black checkers, and just looks like a normal Ashy on any hatchling picture I could find. Also the 2 female Hypo het. Ashy look just like normals, also with black checkers.
I asked him about it and he persists they are all hypo's.
Now almost a week after the package has arrived. The Sunkissed female and the Fluo female both haven't eaten yet and are getting thin FAST. Both were really tiny when they got here. My scale wasn't even able to measure their weight! And a lot of babies have regurgitated.
I'm not sure what to do here, am I panicking for nothing and just nagging? Or do I have a good point.
I can make pictures of the hatchlings per request, this is not any attempt to bad mouth Florian. He's been really nice but now he's MIA when I'm having questions about his babies. And that get's me worried.
