Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello all,

I am wondering if anyone knows where Neil from "Moonstruck Exotics" is or how to contact him. I did do a search, and there are a few moonstruck theads, but they are all over 3 years old.

After my move from Portland, Or to Salt Lake City, UT he agreed to watch over quite a few of my BCI's along with a few cages and rack system. Well, I never heard from him again. Called, for over a year with no answer!!! This has been 5 years now, and would love to speak with him and find out why he decided to do this to me. He has/had (who knows now) well over $3000 in animals and cages of mine so please, any info would be great.

I know it's been quite a long time, and never plan on getting my animals back but to this day I'm very pissed about this whole situation and would love to get an answer from him personally.

Sorry to hear that man. I live here in the area. He and his wife seem to have split up, I saw a local ad for Boa Constrictor Collection for sale about 2 years ago. When I got the house over in Milwaukie, the gal told me who she was and that her and her husband had spit up and she was selling all of the snakes and cages they (Moonstuck Exotics) had made. I was horrified to see the condition that these animals were in. Some cages had 5-6 sheds in them, on top of pile after pile of feces and urates. Snakes that were supposed to be 18 months old the size of neonates. Several of the snakes were visibly ill with RI, mites, mouthrot and regurge issues. Needless to say I touched nothing and left. I felt so infested and dirty after leaving, I stripped to my boxers on the porch at home and washed my clothes immediately.

I doubt anything you owned is still around... dead or alive, and I am sorry for that, but even if it were, and you get a hold of someone, I would think seriously about taking any of it back....
I saw many cages and racks and boas. What kinds of bci did you leave with him?

Ed - I can not remember Neil's last name, I've thought about it and it's on the tip of my tongue!!! He was located in Milwaukie OR. He was a guy I thought I could trust 100%, but I guess I was WAY wrong.

Jeff - Wow! I guess I never saw that coming. He had hypos, a few anerys about 20 pastel/abarrent babies I had bread myself, along with their mom and dad. I also had a couple hogg island's. As in cages, I had a few of the moonstruck cages, and two small boa phile racks. I know there were a few other animals, but can't remember it's been so long! I can not believe he let it go that far! Them poor snakes, anyone who can just abandon their snakes like that is just SICK!!! I don't know why he couldn't have just called me, and told me about this before it got out of hand. I would have immediately had them shipped, or even drove their to pick them all up.

Ohh well, it's been years and I guess the flame of anger has died down a little. What can I do? Just a lesson in life, when you think you can trust someone, DON'T!
 
Moonstruck exotics burned me on some cages back in 2004. After months of waiting he did not send the cages and I ended up doing a charge back via American Express/Paypal to get my refund. They strung me along for as long as they could and I barely missed the cutoff limit for Amex (6 months I believe it is).

They signed their emails as "Neil and Lisa Marie"
