    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a gazzillion e-mail accounts and only one of them is connected to my paypal. If everyone sent payments to my gazzillion e-mails...I would end up with a gazzillion pay pal accounts

I have people I have been e-mailing forever....but when it comes time to send them money...(whether I have done it in the past or not) I ask them what their address was again. When it comes time for them to send me money....I make sure to give them the correct address. I do not want to be bothered by looking it up. so I just assume they don't either.


Just give the guy your e-mail addy.

This may be entirely unrelated but...

AOL does seem to have a habit of eating e-mails sent from the internet unread. I have both earthlink and an AOL screenname, I will send information from one e-mail address to the other from time to time and I have had things on both sides simply never arrive.

Dave's response of "Nope, no more questions" seemed to be answering the query of "or are you going to ask MORE questions" rather than a statement implying he didn't want to answer.

Communication seems to have gone sideways on this once again, resulting in the same attitudes and approaches as it had before. I would ask, as a favor, that you guys perhaps try to understand that communication errors happen, especially when AOL's involved somewhere in my experience. If an e-mail wasn't replied to, it's not safe to assume it was delivered or read... That being the case, it's not Neil's fault they were never seen and not Dave's fault they were never replied to.

I am pretty sure that if you recieve $ thru paypal, you have the senders e-mail in your file at paypal. Where it says, recipients email, right below that is a file that holds all the email addresses from the transactions you have had. Just clikck on Daveys email, send the $$ he will get the $100.
 
Casey, I do hundreds of paypal transactions as I am sure Neil does too, I was looking last week through old transactions to find one that I had bought something from and for the like of me I could not stop which sale it was from a few months ago, thats asking alot and I have a pretty good memory.

In one of my previous posts I said that if anyone had anything to say they could email me, and I put my email there as well. There is even a button at the bottom of this post that says email that can be clicked to email someone.

Since it is such a hassle, and has been from the begining, I will just have to be an unsatisfied customer here. No attept at all has been made to fix anything and I am done.
Don't send me the money Neil, just click on that little donate money button and donate it to this site in my name and we can leave it at that. That way it might be used to keep this site up, so that future buyers can use the BOI.
And webslave, please notify me when the donation has been made,. Thanks
 
great idea dave..i'm sure the site could use it.you did get a nice snake outta the deal even though it's not what you ordered, needed,paid for,or wanted,it's still a nice snake.IF the money doe's make it to rich i think it will need to be noted that you are not a happy customer with the product but the financial part was taken care of to your satisfaction.i really don't see how this deal got this far out of hand.1st of all the snake was 25% smaller than the ad stated.you accepted it so all is good.then you sexed and it was the wrong sex..who cares if the 24 hr guarantee was up.as long as there was no denial that this was the same snake,i don't care if it was 4 or 5 days later a 100% of all expenses including feed if you fed it in that time should have been refunded.no questions asked,no your 24 hrs is up,no you jumped the gun and posted here to fast excuses.dave it would not have mattered if you waited 6 months to post here you still would have been made out to look like the bad guy just because you posted against one of the big dawgs here.so i hope you enjoy your snake and find both them boys good LADIES and i hope the rest of the matter is taken care of and all ends well for all.

You can post against one of the "big boys" here and have no problems whatsoever. You have some valid points about why Davey was right to make his posts. Why stoop to a level where did not need to take it by accusing the BOI of being run by some unseen, all mighty clique that simply DOES NOT exist???

If you think a person cannot post about Neil (or anyone else on here) about something that is wrong, you obviously haven't read enough threads. Call Neil and ask him, he'll set you straight on that in a heartbeat, I promise.
 
I understand your plight Dave and really think Neil should settle quickly with you. As we have talked in the new "chat" room we both know it is rather hard at times to get a hold of Neil.
I do have to say though that I went through with my deal with Neil and the Rosy after calling him. He was very nice to me and went out of his way to get the snake to me on time. I am happy to say that the snake arrived here, my Daughter opened it and it is a beautiful snake! The snake christened my daughter by pooping on her and she didnt mind, now that is love.
So to Neil I say thank you very much and all the info you gave me on the phone (different sizes of mice LOL) and for a prompt speedy delivery.:D

I do, however, think it was rude of you not to return my daughters phone call when she called to thank you and she had wanted to ask some question. I posted here, no reply, I emailed you no reply, finally on the forth day I PM'ed you and got a rather sarcastic reply.
Some advice: Follow through.
 
Just to let you all know , still nothing has been done yet, even though I have PMed my info to Neil. I have not received an email from Neil, or paypal. I also have not received any messages from webslave letting me know that a donation has been made. I guess this has come to an end with no attempt having been made to rectify the situation. I hope others can learn from my experience. Neil was very good about telling me in the forum what he planned to do to fix this, and publicly made himself look like a great fella, but still has not shown himself to be a man of his word, and that to me is more important than any aspect of this hobby. Thanks for the learning experience.

You are not being pushed around, it is the other way around. You owe Dave, you said you would pay, now be a man of your word and do it, not just say you are going to do it, go on paypal, its open 24/7 and just pay it.
How are you being pushed? he has given you chance after chance and plenty of time.

Which pretty much says... Use the e-mail you already had... or don't bother using the e-mail at all, donate the money to Fauna...

Neil, come on now... at this point you're just being stubborn, send the money somewhere to someone, either the e-mail you already had for the account, which he has indicated was the proper one... or donate it as he requested...
