    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Neil is a good guy

I did business with Neil recently, twice BEFORE I read anything bad said about him and his business practice. Both dealings went VERY smoothly and the baby beardies I got from him are the cutest things in the world. One didn't make it after a couple of days and Neil sent me another to replace it immediately!
Not only did the transaction go smoothly but delivery was immediate and everyone got here safe and sound!
He also is a total riot to chat with on the phone!!!!

Please note that I did NOT put up the poll I had asked about doing, so no votes here are wanted nor necessary. Neil has chosen the status quo, and that is perfectly fine with me as well.

Neil can post in his defense on the BOI when the topic line has his name in it, which I believe is fair. Posting anywhere else on this site and he runs the risk of even losing that privilege.
 
I think some of the people Neil offended with his email would find it a little offensive that it might even be considered to allow him back!
 
It figures I finally post and mess up! I forgot to add my name opps!
I recieved the babies on 4-17-03 and waited a week before feeding them. 3 days after they ate they BOTH regurged. So off to the vet we went, They both had Hook Worms, so I got Panacur and went home. waiting another few days I feed them again and they did the same so then we tryed Flagyl. They continued to regurg though. I didn't e-mail you Neil because it was past 7 days and I was UPSET, I told you this in that e-mail What could you do anyway?. When I finally e-mailed Neil to tell him this He said he was haven no problems with the other snakes and sent $50. to help with vet bills.I thought that was very nice.
On 6-5-03 I DID E-mail Neil and told him the female had died! He said he was sorry to hear that and that he'd give me another for 175.includeing shipping well heck I paid that the first time! Now I still have the other one and he is regurgitating again so back to vet and MORE meds and vet bills!! I have some e-mails from Neil but not all of them unfortunetly but I don't want to bash Neil that's not my intent!
But Neil after the post you just made I am P&^*&^.... You wrote that "this was the first you heard that she died" when I e-mailed you on 6-5 to tell you and that's when you said you would get me another for 175.00 I told you let me know when you get one in and I'd consider it. NOTHIN was said about $100. credit. As for the Sand Boa and the calls you must be thinkin of SOMEONE else, I have NO interest in one one them and if I did I can get them here in town for alot less. As for the 20 phone calls I supposible made to you PLEASE do I need to paste my phone records on here to PROVE I never made one except when I ordered them? I told you before that all I wanted was another female (baby) Guyana Heck It didn't even have to be a baby..
Not sure if this is enough info but it's the best I can do since the e-mails got deleted.. I realize that Neil didn't have to do ANYTHING and yes he did but what he(you) said in the later part of your post on ME was WRONG..I have spent well OVER $250.00 on vet visits since I got those babies in. And one has died and I'm not sure if the other will even live.. But remember what you said Neil "Nothing is life is a for sure thing" except Death and Taxes"

Yes Neil has belittled many people here , yes he is entertaining to say the least, yes the e-mail is something else, BUT, even criminals are able to defend themselves in all situations.
It all boils down to ,...can we all just take him for face value and if ya don't like him turn a deaf 'eye' After all we are adults here.
As far as dealing with you Neil, I have said it before only on a face to face basis, You seem to be trying to un-tarnish the history of NG so keep that up and TRY and stay honest
As far as a vote when the Webslave starts a poll then you will see my vote
 
With all that being said.... Shy (Dawn??), I said it in my above post, and once I say something, I rarely take it back.... I WILL HONOR my $100 credit offer to you, also!.... Of course, now that I realize my mistake.... Shy, you never told me about the death of the first, or second, one??.... I have to agree with John....

It's what I was trying to say. I guess the thing is here, in all bad circumstances you always try to make "light" of it...otherwise we'd all go nuts in this business. But it seems to be taken as sarcasm and not taking the BOI seriously. With Neil (and myself) I think it's just how people take things. When I post on here people take it as a "joke" and it is to some extent that, but you have to look at the flip side....some remarks that are made on here people look to ignore, but I look to laugh at it. It seems to be just how people approach the situation differently.

Obviously most people here won't do business with Neil, for their own personal reasons, but why should he not be able to post here. B/c of the email???

Well it seems alot of people here have said the same things about him, alot right on this very post actually (a little toned down, and the only reason is b/c you know webslave is now issuing warning points.) But I'm sure if you could you'd do the same thing...which some of you, I'm sure, have already gone and emailed others about what a lousy "&$%^%( *%&^#% &@%#&^$" Neil is...(if you get my point). So I want to know why YOU can post here and why Neil can't.

Is that b/c Neil is no longer "in the BOI group"? Just curious to know.

You may not be able to see it, as you seem to have much in common with him as far as customer service and quality go, but many others out there see it plain as day.

Instead of answering Wes' post (sorry Wes) I think you should be answering Dawns post. What she wrote is coming dangerously close to my experience, which would lead me to think this may not be a one time deal with this.
Please answer her post instead of the name calling post, lets stick to the important stuff.

Is it just me or did everybody else notice that Neil did not drop a level and start to stab back, Wes was your post necessary:argue: lets not turn this thread into what the smiley faces are doing
 
Rozann.... Dawn is absolutely correct in everything she said!.... As you know, my memory sucks.... I got the two of you mixed up more than a blender ever could!.... I won't deny it.... with Dawn, I "thought" I was doing the right thing by giving her the $50 to help with the Vet bills.... heck, she only paid $349 shipped for the pair??.... I gave her $50 back already, and I'm all set to give her another $100 credit??.... Even though all of this happened after my guarantee period has expired??.... I think I'm being MORE than fair??
Dawn.... my offer stands.... I'm truly sorry for the problems with your babies, and I'm trying to at least take some of the responsibility.... it's your choice??.... email me in private and we'll work something out!.... Promise!

John, I am just stating for some of those who refuse to see, or are purposely not seeing, the facts. neil has stabbed people in the back before. You know it and I know it but newbies don't. So, while it may not be necessart to those who actually know what he's like, they aren't the only ones who will be reading this, so, yes it was necessary.

Yes, I only paid $ 349. shipped for them but I have vet bills that if I gather all them together would probly be more than that AND one dead snake AND one snake that is still regurgitating . So Really thats WELL over $600.+ That I have into them..I may consider your offer I still don't know yet because I'm afraid this will happen again and then theres MORE of my money gone..
