Alex.... I now remember that Hognose incedent.... after you made me aware of the missexing of the male, I DID go out and buy a late 01 Female and was going to sell you the PAIR for $225 shipped??.... Which is what YOU told me you were willing to pay for the pair.... You never responded back to me about them.... As far as I'm concerned, I did everything I could to make up for that descrepency.... you PROMISED ME that if I found the female, you would buy the pair, and then you renigged on it.... so how am I to blame for that???.... I just don't get it....

Now I dont know if you are incapable of understanding, so I will keep my remarks as simple as I can. This response is not about Neil , its about the way you posted your thread. It is unacceptable behavour.

I dont care if you have something specific to say that can be corroborated, but that is not the case at all, and you know it.

If you read the post that was written for Wes, then I would have assumed that you would also understand that I clarified the fact that I was not a friend of Neils but an aquantance, as I am with other members of this board.

You can provide an opinion, providing that it relates to the subject matter. But calling Neil a scumbag and going beyond what is considered normal dialogue in a forum, where Mr. Eaton, not everyone is as crude as you, diserve a bit more credit.

What kind of a response were you thinking of ? Did you think that this was some kind of a joke, or possibly that their are members who are going to sit idly by while you write that kind of garbage. Their are alot of intellegent people on this site that deserve a little more respect from participants whether they are in favour or not in favour of Neil.

Let me tell you what you did Mr. Eaton......You were testing the waters, you were looking to see how many other low class people like yourself would join in, and none appeared because your post was vulgar, unnecessary and does not belong on the BOI or any other chat site. Take those threads somewhere else Mr. Eaton, their is no room for that kind of dialogue.

I dont profess to be a moral watchdog for this site, but I do have a very clear understanding when someone goes beyond what is considered a normal response to a post. Yours was certainly not!

For whatever reason its worth, people did not take your post with a grain of salt as you expressed. Maybe they just decided that you were not worth persuing and passed your posts without any comment. But dont flatter youself !

To set the record straight Mr. Eaton, not a single post of mine was written with the intention of defending Neil. But I will not sit by idly while extremists like yourself attempt to get a laugh at the expense of others on this forum. That does not make me a moral watchdog Mr. Eaton but rather a person who knows the difference between an honest post and a vindictive one such as yours.

You certainly are entitled to your opinion Mr. Eaton, but if you were to read over what you had written, those were not opinions but rather a sewer approach at sensationalism, and those are not opinions worthy of any kind of a response. I felt obligated in bringing this to your attention, because if you have something that worth stating then by all means it will be welcomed. But if you think that you can spew this garbage, then please note: its unacceptable, and that is MY humble opinion.

3. I send you a e-mail asking you to find me a LATE 2000 hognose female to pair up with the early '01 male you have, you send me a e-mail requesting payment for a early 2001 FEMALE ( born in may or march ) along with the early '01 male which you originally tried to sell me as a female

and I didnt back out of anything....even after I had confronted you about this '01 female you wanted to sell me although I WANTED an '00, I still gave you an option......

Jerry, you have every right to voice your opinion. You do not, however, have any right to assume that you speak for all of us that read this forum. I was amused by some of what Chris said. I'm sure others were too.

There are mods here and Jerry, just in case you haven't noticed in your megaloamania, you ain't one of them. Then there's Rich, the ultimate bottom line and he hasn't said anything backing you up on your authoritarian stance either.

Your policing days, from what you have said, are over. You're not a forum cop here. While I actually do value some of what you say and disagree with a lot of it too, I have never told you how to say it or in what manner you may voice your opinions. What gives you the right to do that to anyone else?

neil is a scumbag. It's incontrovertable. Do you know ANYONE else that has made as many "mistakes" as he has? At the level he makes them, the sheer volume of them, they really can't be mistakes unless he really is dumb as a fence post and, even I can tell this, he isn't.

Maybe you should lighten up a bit Jerry. You do come off as defending neil quite a bit. I got your point about aquaintences, both he and I are your aquaintences but, you really do seem to be going out on a limb for him. I don't think he's worth it and I suspect, no I know, he's not worth it.

I specifically asked for a VIRGIN because I breed beardeds and needed to know who the babies were going to be fathered by.

If you were not 150% sure she was a virgin, then she should not have been sold as such.

I took it as a "mistake", "error", or what ever you want to call it...but it just seems very odd to me that these mistakes and errors seem to be abundant with you.

That female has not produced again or grown any bigger since I've had her...my first guess would be ..... she was bred before her time.

I paid you good money for a advertised "virgin" female bearded dragon and thats what I should have received, instead I got a female gravid bearded that was on the young side to be bred and of which has not grown or bred again.

Am I pissed about the female bearded...you bet.

Am I even pissed off more knowing that you can make a statement about how many customers you've wronged or made right by and so on and so on.....YOU BET.

Thats my only gripe with you Neil....you cant honestly say you remember every customer you've ever wronged and made right by....because there are more than just those "3".

As for the Hogs...you never sent me any. I wanted to buy the "female" you were advertising and later found the same identical snake on your site with a different ID number listed as a male.
When I asked you about it....you stated it was 100% guranteed female, when I asked why it was listed on your site as a male....you didnt answer my e-mails for 2 days and came back with ooops...it is a male. Then I gave you a 3rd. chance and asked you to find me a '00 female to go with the now "female" turned male....you came back to me with an animal that was not what I wanted, not what I asked for and when I refused to buy them......you threatened to drag my name through the mud here on the BOI....ringing any bells now ???

Its not really about who you wronged and how many people you've wronged or have now done right by...well not entirely true.

Its about the whole "Attitude".....believe it or not you'll actually start to feel much better about yourself, friends, customers, life, the world..etc. etc. when you can simply just admit when you're wrong.

Karma is a very funny thing.....it can work in your favor or against you.

When you start to treat people with little or no respect or start thinking you're better, smarter, or wittier than they are.....what happens is karma comes back and kicks your butt.

When you start believing that everything wrong in your life is no fault of yours but the fault of everyone else around you....karma comes and kicks your butt.

Take me for an example...you sold me falsely advertised animals, you offered me unwanted animals, you threatened to drag my name through mud here on the BOI if I didnt pay you for those unwanted animals....then you say "you can remember everyone you've ever wronged and have now made right by them"....well I hate to tell you Neil.....but karma says you didnt show me the same respect you might've showed those "3" people....and it came to kick your butt.

Its like Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Moriarty. Wes , Mr. Eaton and I have resolved our differences. Even had the thread been about you instead of Neil, my reaction to the thread would have been the same.

I have better things to do than police this forum, which incidently, I do not do. You are correct . Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Its just that we can get more acomplished under an atmosphere that does not denegrade to a level that goes beyond the pale.

You and I have had our differences on many occassions. But I have tried to keep it civil, and so have you. Thats not asking to much is it. This has nothing to do with Neil. Its just that when Neils name comes up, the mudslinging seems to deteriorate very quickly. So if you want to consider that POLICING the forum, thats your opinion, but we do have to have some kind of controls.

You say you can rememeber all the bad deals in the last 6 yrs ? ( 3 of them) but yet all the time you say how bad your memory is? thats is just something that struck me .
I can say you always seem to have a wittier way about your responses to posts made by you and i do laugh alot when i see them.

Now about animals that are "misrepresented to you" by the people you Broker for i have to ask it seems as if lately there have been many people that have dealt you sour grapes on animals that you have had sold to others ( GTP with gashed neck , a whoremonger beardie , missexxed snakes etc etc ) seems like as Alex said there are ALOT of things that you have to ammend the mistakes for on animals being mis sexxed , mis represented and sick or dying. Now i could really careless because i to this point have a few select people i buy from when i do buy my boas .. i always see lots id like to buy but choose to surpass that feeling and hold out or buy from who / what i know to be a person i can trust 150%Neil i have never had a deal with you so i will say upfront that there is no way i can bash you for a bad deal with me ... but look at it this way

Theres a car lot in town... theres a car you see there you like ... but due to the track record of the previous buyers from this carlot that have bought cars that have "never been wrecked" and then you know someone who has bought one like it and has a 1/4 panel full of bondo .... and the carsalesman says " oh i didnt know" that can only wash so long .


I think one thing that could solve ALOT of you "dis supporters" is to do two things admit and be honest to yourself when you screw up if its the fault of another person for selling you that gravid beardie , gashed GTP or what ever it is ANNOUNCE there names if they do it to you who else will they mis reppresent animals to to make a sale ? or do they do it to you becsue they know they can due to how people view you ? and if thats a yes then stop dealing with them.... why subject yourself to anymore un needed bad press then you can control.if you want to sell / broker that animal have them send it to you so that you can see its well being foryour self if you think that a virgin beardie is just
fat and healthy" and couldnt feel the stomach and feel eggs ( i have no idea im not a beardie person) but would think you could feel eggs in one * shrug* the thing is when as Alex said its everybody elses fault but neils then that tell me two things i would do #1 not deal with those people who keep causing you greif over there mistakes #2 have the animals you sell on hand for you to look at and make suret here worthy of adding your name on the sale of that animal.

Please dont jump my case for these statments it would nt be worth your time & effort as stated i am having a bad day today but these were just something i felt i could offer you as advice

You and I have a past so please do not take the following in the wrong way. But here is some advice on how to broker animals.

1. Always say in your ad "I do not have this animal on hand, I am brokering it." Get several good photos of the animal

2. Only add a small brokerage percent, somewhere about 10 to 15 percent plus all shipping. You can not sell for top dollar when you broker a animal people will go else where.

3. once your buyer send you the money have the animal sent to you so that you can inspect it from tip to tail. Stop drop shipping, I don't care who you are getting it from.

4.If you would spend your hard earned on it then send it to your buyer. Do not sell a animal unless it is one that you would buy for yourself.

Neil, if you do these 4 little steps you will see that life will be sooooo much easier for you. Yes it take a couple days longer but people will understand.

Brokering animals is not a bad thing Neil, Hell I did it for a while but be honest with youself and your customers. People arn't going to say "I won't buy from Neil because he is a broker" but they will and do say " I won't buy from Neil because he misrepresents animals or sends bad animals."

I just wanted to give you this advice take it or leave it.

Alot of people have been on the BOI for quite some time. I personally have seen so many issues from Neil such as bad memory, bad photos, genetic issues, sex issues, wounded animals, dead animals, feeding a rabbit to a Burm the night before shipping, robberies with so much b.s. that noone knew who was telling the truth, that does not even mention people like Alex who have not yet posted their situation, or stories that some know to be true that are not on a public forum. He has been banned a few times here, once after sending an email to the wrong party basically talking crap on everyone here. He always puts himself in a place where he has to tell everyone that he has changed? How many years should one be in the Reptile business before they are competent. Also, when I first started coming to the BOI he was the king of berating people and he basically had a following that would pounce on anyone that he disagreed with. Kinda starting the myth (or not) of their being lynch mobs here. That is why people place their input in any thread relating to Neil.
As far as Chris Eaton I do know him personally and he is a friend. His harsh attitude might be because he was originally a New Yorker! haha When I read his post I honestly nearly fell over laughing. I think that maybe it is a generation issue. When I talk to my parents about Howard Stern, my Mom gets so upset and really hates him (most peaceful women in the world). Even just other comics that have used some dirty material. She does not get their humor and finds it discusting. Where as I find them hilarious, especially Chris Rock. Probably just the moral decline of America, but if your under 40, what Chris said is probably not that offensive. Again I nearly fell out of my chair.

I can't live in the past, I can only do my darndest to make it better in the future.... you guys can lambaste me all you want, but it won't change the past.... Dave.... yes, we have a LONG past.... so let me give YOU some advice.... when you lose a $5000 lawsuit, don't try hiding under a rock and covering up your assets.... be a MAN and pay your debts.... remember, a judgement is good for 10 years with a 10 year extension, should I need it.... also remember that there is a 7% interest rate on that $5000 that started on June 1, 2003.... sooner or later, you WILL be held accountable.... so why don't you just cut your losses and pay your judgement.... it'll only be more expensive for you in the future.... don't even think that I will forget about it.... my lawyer is working on a contingency fee with this one, so he won't stop either.... sooner or later, Dave.... it's your choice....
