In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well I cant tell you who to sell you animals to, but i strongly advise not buying from him.

I contacted him about 2 animals (female Burms)
He stated the two animals were still in stock and that they were healthy and that one may bea ble to breed this winter. The other would need an additional year. I checked the BOI and saw mixed reviews and they were a good price so I decided to buy them. Anyways I called UPS and they said that they could hold the box there and i would be able to pick it up there with a tracking number. Something got screwed up and it was delived to my house anyways. I got home from work for lunch and noticed that the box was rater small to hold 2 burms one big enough to breed this fall (neil stated lager than a coke can arround) and a second animal. Then i picked up the box and knew right away it was empty. I opened the box and sure enough empty no bags that the snakes could have escaped from or packaging nothing. I immeditaly called him and told him the issue. Neil stated that he had placed the animals in the box and that he had all of his UPS lables preprinted for 1 pound and that it would be reweighed at the UPS facility and it would show that he shipped the animals. (ok whatever) He then accused me of trying to screw him over saying that he didnt ship the animals and that I was trying to get free animals. Anyways he has been nothing but a dick to me lately see the latest ill forward those next. I put a claim in with UPS and Discover UPS will not do anything because on there live animals section ALL snakes are prohibited. We will see what discover says.

To think......
I just moved and missed seeing this shipment myself by just a couple of days.
To think......these animals were being bought basically because of me.
To think.....he usually opens up his shipments in front of me.....how I wish I could have been there to see this empty box for myself.....that way I can TOTALLY fry someone.

p.s. I do not know much about snakes..... but in my world...... a burm that is larger than a coke can around is not ready to be bred. perhaps if it was as large or larger than a coke bottle.....then definately.

pps. buy a scale..... that way you do not run the risk of having them reweighed and possibly searched.

ppps. If they got searched..... then yeah the boxes woiuld be shipped without snakes.

ppppss And if they were shipped without any snakes..... and you thought you could just take some nobody along for a ride.... you got another thing coming. Because I am scheduled to go back to Maryland to take care of business in a couple of months. Guess whos house I will be staying at? Guess whos snakes I will be checking out? So yeah I will witness this first hand.

had to redo the quote.....
did not want anyone thinking it was some made up anonymous party

What a crock of crap.... The two burms I sold him were an Albino 04 and an Albino Green 05, how the hell can either of them be "coke bottle" size, when there was a picture of both of them in the ad (there is still a picture of them on my Sold section of my site), go look for yourself.... if you go to my, "Animals Sold Since 03/01/02" section of my website, they are there plain as day.... I have PROOF from UPS that the package weighed 3.9 pounds when it left my house, they were both in a NEW 12x12x7 styrofoam-lined box from Superior Enterprises, and when it was delivered, there was nothing in the box (or so he says).... He was not there to accept delivery and the box sat on his doorstep for an hour before he got it.... it was already investigated by UPS who determined that Brian was lying, and now he put a chargeback on his Discover Card which I just responded to today with all my PROOF.... he will NOT get his money back from me because I did everything I was supposed to do.... I have NEVER shipped ANYBODY an empty box.... that's ridiculous!!.... Someone in HIS neck of the woods has some very nice BABY Burms now....

Neil

Can I please ask a question ?

Is this something from a past thread ? What all parties are invloved. Neil could you please respond. Im just trying to figure out what this is about. Mr Luna could you please leave mor details.

Very easy.... the burms were shipped on 4/13, and he "received" them on 4/14.... that's when all the "fun" started.... I have just taken a picture (which I will post in a second) of the UPS bill where it PLAINLY states that the box (which is only 12x7x6) weighed 3.9 pounds when it was weighed at the UPS terminal before it was actually put on the plane, but well AFTER it left my house!!

Thanks

Neil post the pic that should defiantly clear this up. I know an empty box doesnt weigh almost 4 pounds.

here's the photo, which I obviously had to enlarge so you can see the type....
this kid is full of it!!

All my airbills are pre-printed with the weight as 1 pound.... that's why UPS ALWAYS re-weighs my boxes to get the actual weight.... so the top number is what my airbill says, and the bottom number is what the box actually weighed at time of shipping....

Again.... BRIAN BODE IS A LIAR!!

The Corrected UPS Weight Should Tell All.

I find it hard to believe Neil would purposely send an empty box. If someone from UPS stole the animals from the box between Neil's place and being weighed in at the facility then the empty box would be considerably light compared to one with subadult to adult burms packed in it. If the final UPS paperwork shows a minimal weight then it's obvious there's no way a pair of subadult burms were packed in there at the point the package was entered into the system by them. If this is the case then the buyer should be issued a refund because a minimal weight would show the animals weren't in in the box prior to being received. I'm not sure about Neil's policy on live arrival but it seems to me that NO ARRIVAL should be grounds for a full refund. If the snakes disappeared it's not the buyer's problem. We'll have to wait and see what the final paperwork shows for billed weight.

Oh great. More SECOND HAND accusations with no proof. Not sure if this belongs here on in Hell.

Greg.... again.... they were NOT adult OR sub adult.... they were BABIES.... an 04 and an 05.... just more of his LIES.... go look at the pics on my site for yourself??

Really? Even though the box sat on the porch because no one was home to accept it and sign for it?

Could someone please clarify something for me.

Are second parties allowed to post this information here. I thought that the actual buyer or seller needed to post. Maybe Im wrong but I thought no second party post being "this guy did this to my friend" type deal.

That was my point exactly.

Neil,

Did you ship to the facility for customer pick up or the customers home?

Did you ship one or two packages? The bill says 2.

Did the customer contact you on the 14th with his problem?

I would have to say it is the buyers fault if the snakes ended up missing because the box sat on the doorstep. If that is the case, then someone in the neighborhood probably has a new set of snakes and the stolen package contents should be reported to the police. I would keep an open ear to talk in the neighborhood too.

I have a few questions and comments:

So the guy was definately not there to receive the package? any proof?

Did the guy who claims to have not received the two burms note any problems with the box before he opens it or was it perfectly ok? Details like that seem to help sometimes. If the box looked tampered with, then it may not be the shippers or the receivers fault.....instead it is the delivery company's problem...I dont know how UPS functions....do they have a no snake shipping policy?

When I receive packages, I always snap a few pics of the unopened box and a few before I take whatever out. Just incase something were to be wrong. But that is just me being over concerned and wanting to protect my money as much as possible.

First question: It says so right in Richies original post that the guy was not home.

Second question: The guy has not specified about the condition of the box.

Third question: As a rule no, UPS does not allow snakes. However, I do know some breeders have contracts that do allow them to legally ship snakes. I do not know Neil's situation with UPS. Neil will have to answe that one.

There were TWO packages that I was being BILLED for on that UPS bill.... I only sent Brian ONE package with BOTH BABY snakes in it.... On the airbill which was attached to the box, in the memo section, I PLAINLY PUT, "hold at UPS office for pickup", as Brian had told me (when he first ordered the snakes) that he wouldn't be home for the pickup because he only went home for lunch.... it was ME that suggested to hold them at the UPS office for HIS pickup so they DIDN'T have to stay on his doorstep.... but, UPS screwed up and delivered them to his house anyway.... I did EVERYTHING I COULD to avoid a situation like this.... then, when SOMEONE ELSE stole the animals, this is what happens....

Yes, he DID call me on the 14th telling me that I SHIPPED HIM AN EMPTY BOX.... he told me the box was slit down the middle slicing the airbill in half.... I will be getting a letter from my UPS guy tomorrow morning saying that when he picked up the package, HE had to tear off his copy of the airbill and it was IN ONE PIECE!!....

and RITCHIE.... you should get your FACTS STRAIGHT FIRST, BEFORE you accuse someone of something that was well OUT of their control!!!.... Your buddy or not, he's a LIAR and took YOU for a ride!!
