    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just had to let everyone know that Neil is a hell of a guy.
I emailed him about trying to get the female retic to eat and he stayed on line way late last night to help me get her forcefed, something I personally have never done before. She ended up passing away anyway but Neil stayed up with me till 10<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'>0pm here which would make it like 1<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'>0am there. Thanks Neil for all the help even though I have never bought anything from him. This was great service, I consider him one of the "Good Guys" and a good friend to have.
 
Don't be fooled by this man.  He was really surfing the porn sites and you just happen to be something to do during the long waits for each pic to download on his computer.  

But other than that, I would have to agree with you about him.  He tried to help me find a few rare and hard to find animals that I was after.  It never panned out through him but it did through Mike and Erica at Mother Gecko.

I have to agree that Neil goes out of his way to help everyone, even those that don't buy from him.  I was looking for a few animals, but Neil was out so he directed me to somebody that had exactly what I was looking for.
 
Jeff.... there's a very easy explanation for my actions... in this business.... it's not ALL about making every last penny you can get out of someone! If we are "supposed" to be a close-knit family.... that's what we're supposed to be doing! Helping! That one word has many different definitions.... you have to be able to put your own needs aside and do what should be done! Whether it's sending you to someone I know has what you want, to giving advice on how to help kill a snake (lol), to giving someone a break on the price because they asked.... nothing should ever be written in stone, and that goes for any business (IF you want to be successful)....
If you've noticed.... I'm certainly not the only one on this board that knows that, and incorporates that philosophy into their own businesses.... it's a win-win situation.... what goes around, comes around.... that goes for the bad things, too.... I've always said.... If you're nice to someone, they'll tell 10 people.... if you're mean and nasty to someone, they'll tell as many people they can that will listen! Being a "herp-nazi" will put you out of business in a heartbeat, the same is true for "greedy" dealers, too!
You're only as good as the people that work for you! As a recent prime example.... the owner of a business could be the greatest guy that ever walked the face of the Earth.... but, if the people that work for you are, let's say, "not the best".... then, where are you? Strike three! You're OUT!
Everybody likes to be needed by someone.... this is just my way of accomplishing that....
But, above all.... you've got to do the right thing when something goes wrong! That's the rub.... there will be times when you will have to lose money on the deal to make it right.... that's got to be done, or you'll be right back to square one, again! I will NEVER go back to the beginning.... I'm too old for that! Heck, I'm so old, I should be breaking a hip pretty soon!! lol
Hopefully, with a little help, a lot more people will jump on this bandwagon, and then we will have an industry that we can be proud of! That's my goal! Anybody want to join me in that quest??? ....Neil

Absolutely.  In fact, I had been trying to work out something with Paypal regarding live animals, but then something called Ebay got involved.
