One thing I want to know if this was your freind Adam I had a conversation with a couple of vendors that were at Daytona that had some high end stuff. We dont know for sure that is was your buddy but there was a truck driver running around the show with a ton of money he admitted to obtaining from selling drugs. He was running dope back and forth across the country on his trips and wanted to put the money into something ligit. Was this truck driver who wanted to put the drug money into something ligit your freind who picked up the balls? Yes or no will do!

I am not looking for a reason to delete the message, I am just pointing out to John that proof can be a difficult thing to demand as a requirement in all statements posted here. And as such, it would certainly keep me busy deleting messages if it was an absolute requirement of posting on the BOI.

As I see it, the difference is that Jason is asking a question. John was refering to Adam making a accusation. I could ask if Adam broke into my car last night and stole my stereo, and that would be fine, but if I say. "I think Adam broke into my car last night, and stole my stereo," I had better have some proof.

Richard, that could be true in essence.

But Jason's remark is based (as best I can determine) from what other people said they heard from this truck driver, and not what HE actually heard with his own ears.

The question I am faced with is where do I draw the line with third party utterings? Anyone can say they heard this and that from old so-and-so, and there is no ownership to the statements being made. If Jason heard those statements himself directly from the truck driver, then it would simply be Jason't credibility in question about the statements he made. But with the actual source of the information he is relating here being anonymous in nature, is it valid to let this sort of thing stand unchallenged? Should it be required of Jason to prove at least the source of his statement by saying exactly whom it was that he heard this from?

What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Adam's first two attempts to begin this thread were deleted because he did exactly the same thing by using anonymous sources as the origination of information he was posting.

And has been evident in various threads on this board, it is not at all unusual for Jason to take statements out of context in order to try to prove a point he is making.

After the show he stopped at WalMart. All of the babies were placed in shoe boxes with deli cups hot glued to the bottom for water.

You know, I think you're all missing the point by a long shot. There is no blame, the animal is dead and weather it was caused by Kevin or myself doesn't matter to me. I've also never said it was genetic.

Kevin has a history of hydrating animals, even while at shows as has been evidenced by multiple witnesses.

I can't recall ever being given specific feeding records with any purchases and neither have any of the people I contacted when this occured to me...

Seamus, who did you contact to back you up and who are these witnesses?

This is a game I could begin to enjoy now that Ritchie has taken me to school. Avoid all questions ask and fire back with give me names and proof. Guess we'll see if my posts are the only ones to get deleted for not naming your source to back up your facts?

Again, the way I see it, it should not be deleted in either Adam's or Jason's case (or anyone's, for that matter) under most circumstances. In Adam's case, he is directly involved in the business transaction which was the cause of this thread. In Jason's case, the question could serve to further Adam's credibility or the lack thereof. In both cases, I would ask for proof (ie. from Adam) or ask for the names of those who heard the truckdriver say this and would ask for them to verify this. If either Adam or Jason could not present any corroborating "evidence", then the assertions would have to stand on the credibility of the person who originally posted. I am a big fan of the "give them enough rope" method.

If a person comes on here with accusations on behalf of someone they are not professionally associated with, and the person with the actual dispute does not give corroborating info, then that is a situation in which it is appropriate to delete the thread. For instance, let's say I got ripped off by dragon breeder X. If BOImember001 comes on here and says, "Dragon breeder X ripped off Richard Mott!," and I don't say anything to corroborate, that thread should be deleted. If I start a thread about dragon breeder X and how he is really a money launderer for the mob, and no one will back this up, then the assertion must rely on my credibility. If I present no proof, then I lose credibility. If this was a lie to begin with, then I get what I deserve.

As far as specifically addresing Jason's question, unless Adam answers yes, if Jason wants anyone to think this is the case, then he needs to tell us who heard the truckdriver say that. I don't think it should be required or his post is deleted, but someone will certainly ask for it if he doesn't give it right off the bat. If he can't or won't provide us with names, then his assertion is given credibility based on Jason's credibility. I see no problem with this.

I am one that can back up Seamus. I have seen Kevin at the shows I have attended for years. Hamburg, White Plains, Tinley and a couple others and yes I have seen Kevin watering his animals during the show.

Just answer the questions put to you. We all know Jason has no cedibility when it comes to you, because he let's his total hatred of you get in the way of any rational thought concerning YOU. So, forget his question (Jason, even if it WERE true, what would that PROOVE about Adam???).

Instead, how addressing the issues asked of you? What about that necropsy report? What about Steven House? What proof do you have about an albino ball python, purchased from NERD, actually dying? Any proof of that?

I guess the validity of Jason's original post is dependent on your interpretation of your own TOS. If your opinion continues to be that Adam's unfounded and baseless accusations belong here than I guess Jason's post belongs here too. It is certainly no worse.

Personally, I think neither belongs here but if one falls within parameters, they both do.

My main reason for originally posting on that point was not that I was apalled that the posts were put up in the first place. I was surprised that you had decided that Adam's cosmetic semantic facelift of the original post made presenting the exact same info you had previously deleted twice as infounded and inappropriate suddenly acceptable.

My personal stance is that if you don't have personal first hand knowledge of the problem or direct proof you can supply, bad guy posts based on "I heard" "someone told me" "in my opinion" or" I feel' have no place here.

However, you know what they say about opinions. We all have one
