In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy NEVER BUY FROM JTK REPTILES(BRYAN CHO) FROM LONG BEACH

Shame on You

I agree with so many of you. This entire situation is suspect. I am new to Fauna classifieds. Thank goodness, most people do not seem to be such shady characters. First of, Hawaiin808, you have the nerve to start of with the fact that you lost "everything". You are lucky, as far as I am concerned, that is all you lost. Some of those poor reptiles payed with their lives. Stop trying to act as if you are naive and innocent here. You are far from it. You were there, from what you say, paying bills and such for some time, from what I can understand through all this mess. You where keeping them in deplorable conditions just as much as your cohort. :NoNo:Shame on both of you. As for the person who made the idiotic statement that you saw a few dead animals, shame on you too. That is not normal, ever. Oh and by the way Hawaiin808, you keep bellyaching that you could not even go to the police because you did not have a contract or receipts, if you have no blame here, hows about you should have CALLED THE POLICE THERE TO SEE THIS ANIMAL CRUELTY. If I knew where these animals were being kept, I would send the police myself. I have figured out through a little research that they are being kept somewhere in Long Beach, CA 90813, behind a Jack in the Box restaurant. If I lived in California, I would try to find it. There is almost no information on Hawaiin808, that I could find, however, I was able to easily find info on this Bryancho. His phone number and email. If I can find it that easy, someone who lives in the Long Beach area should check into this further and shut this operation down now. I would post his phone and email, but being new to Fauna, I am not sure if I am allowed to do that. If it is allowed, let me know and I will post it. ANIMAL CRUELTY IS A CRIME.:shootfoot

Wouldn't do any good, I've done before on others but nothing became of it. I would think since he lives directly behind a jack In the box it's a healt violation. I think if they were to report then maybe something would be done.

That does not make anyone two faced....what it DOES however, is make YOU a bed keeper. If your best isn't good enough, you should NOT keep animals. It's obvious you cannot properly care for these animals and it's the animals that suffer. You can justify with yourself about how you try your "best" but the fact remains, those animals are kept in cruel conditions. You should not have these animals.

Laura s sorry to tell he's showing only that bad side of this picture and he send he's friend here to pick up lots of reptiles I have a list that they pick up and if my animal r in bad caging ill be seing animal control right in there cos I have lots of costumer from vet and fire department they see what I have and thanks god they r in good health and caging.

When he got the black thee monitors I told him we need a big cage for them and he said they r in the same cage were he got them from and I till ask for big cage and he said no if I spend $40K ill make sure I got the cage with it.

The only animal I have had die on me was one ball python hatchling that had a birth deformity. It's not THAT HARD to keep animals alive. If your "partner" is bringing you sick animals, don't take them. It's that simple. There is no excuse for what the two of you have done here.

If your garage is too hot to keep animals in, you should not be keeping them in the garage, PERIOD!
I have a garage that gets very hot (at least for now). I want to keep my reptile operation in there when it gets larger so I have been spending thousands of dollars plus all my free time wiring, insulating and upgrading my garage so that it stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer. My point is that if you want to keep reptiles and care about them at all you will spend the time and money to provide them with the environment they need to thrive. It is part of being a responsible keeper.

meowmeowkazoo is right, it is not that hard to keep reptiles alive and healthy, you just need to put in the effort.

Bryancho, sounds like you are not putting in serious effort so get out of the hobby. nobody here is going to have any sympathy for someone who lets their reptiles suffer in a hot garage. :NoNo: (also, try using full words instead of r or u, what are you some teenager sending a text?)

Here is the Long Beach weather forecast for today. The high is forecast to be 92. Here in Texas, when temps are in the 90s as they frequently are, the heat in my closed garage is unbearable, much hotter than the outside temp. If I am out there for more than a few minutes, I have to open the garage door.
I would never keep a critter out there in the garage, and I consider that if Bryan's garage is similar, it would be unbearable for any critters in there.

:iagree:
when I moved into my house, the temps in the garage would get up to 110 or 115 on a ninety degree day, and I live in the SF Bay Area.

after getting the insulation installed in the ceiling only partially, the temps dropped to about 85 on a hot day. When I am finished I expect to be able to keep the garage about 75-78 on a very hot day. AC is also an option.
I won't even move them in there until I am able to completely regulate the temps in there. Gotta take care of the animals, their lives depend on it.

Don't think I don't take all what u guys saying I do that's mean learning more is better that what he's doing ( kamakani ) I'm taking care of all the reptiles he drop here and not once buy food for them and not just that he drop off the rats in here coz they r getting kick out of there place now this what I do taking care of almost 2000 rats with out him helping me and taking care all my reptiles and his reptiles not once ask what do I need for them that's why when his friend pick up the reptiles I gave them what he deserve for and I have that in paper and in my phone and I keep contac with them.

All my lights and heat tape in snake rack and cage r off and I'm running 24 hrs fan.

It doesn't matter how hard you think you are trying, if it doesn't work, it's still your fault when the animals die.

As I believe another poster said, if doing your best isn't good enough, then you should not be keeping these animals at all.

You can't just say "Well, I tried" and act like we can't blame you for the animals that have died. This isn't rocket science. If your garage is too hot, then you can't keep animals in it, or they will die. It IS your fault if you put animals in a place that is too hot for them!

Seriously, I meant it when I said it the first time. There is NO EXCUSE for how these animals have been treated.

:iagree:

saying you are trying your best while still keeping them in the garage is the same as leaving a baby in a hot car and saying you tried your best to keep him cool by cracking the windows.
Also, Reptiles are ectotherms, a fan will not work! all it does is circulate the hot air; it only feels like it is cooling to a human because it facilitates the evaporation of sweat which is how humans thermoregulate.
If you move them into the house until it cools down or put an AC unit on the garage, then I will give you credit for trying; until then, NO Excuses, you are not trying very hard to keep them cool:NoNo:

PS: the :iagree: was intended for Lucille's comment, I just didn't post fast enough

I too live in the LA area and its 84 degrees right now and about 10 degrees warmer inside. I do also keep my collection in a garage, but my heat tape doesnt even come on after 9am.(If that) In days like these I make sure to keep my garage door open and the door to the house open to cause a breeze to keep everyone cool and heat down, not to mention a fan to push hot air out as well. So it's possible and not hard to keep reptiles, you just need to put TIME and EFFORT into them! As stated earlier, it won't help to keep a child in a hot car with the windows cracked!

WOW!!! This post got out of hand quickly.

First of all, Mr.808, I'm not quite sure if your posting this because you want to warn everyone or as revenge. But I will say THANK YOU, because now we all know not to do business with either of you. And anyone defending either of these guys, saying "they are ok or good guys", I'll pass on doing business with you too. Just because someone is nice doesn't mean they are good animal keepers. The only reason I don't feel sorry for you, Mr.808 is because I know you knew how he was keeping the animals and you still gave him money. Mr.Cho pretty much agreed about the 40k from one of his post. That sucks but you did it to yourself bro.

Secondly, Mr.Cho, just by your typing and lack of vocabulary, in which my 7 year old nephew could speak better than you, it doesn't surprise me you don't know how to take care of animals. How can you honestly say we all learn new things. You should know everything there is to know about each animal you keep BEFORE you get them. As to prep and make sure you have everything they need. Also, I use to live in Long Beach, and currently live about 10 minutes from LB. If your keeping any animals in a garage why don't you have an air conditioner? You can easily find one on craigslist for under $100. I know because I had to buy one for my chameleon room. I also bought a small heater for when my room would get cold because the heat lamps don't heat up the entire cage. That's animal care basics!!!

So again, THANK YOU because now we all know the truth about both of you. You both shot yourselves in the foot. :shootfoot LOL

Agree with almost all your post. I would never do business with either. There's too many people getting into breeding and dealing in animals, be it reptiles, dogs, birds, exotic mammals, etc just to make a buck. They only care about the dollars and the animals are just a commodity. I'm getting this applies to you both.

The part of the above post I don't agree with is the part about the grammar and typing. He's already said English isn't his first language and doesn't speak it well. Not everyone on here is from the US or even currently lives in the US. You have to keep that in mind.
