I plan on taking her in to a vet hopefully this weekend and had been planning on it. Thank you for all of your advice and information you've provided. In the future, I will keep a paper trail of everything from now on.
BTW This (above) is a good course of action.
First, taking the SQ to the vet for testing, etc.
Then, if nothing comes of the vet visit, take this case as a learning experience and, as you stated, keep a "paper trail" (which includes all forms of written communication), etc., from now on.
To do otherwise, you may just wind up having to accept something as a loss, that you can do little to nothing about, when a problem occurs.
It is a shame that we must "Cover our Rears" so much but ... alas, that is how it is.
