    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Err......just fed a small hopper to my new 2 mths old ball, his first feeding...he still sorta looks unsatisfied, so I popped in a sub adult mouse to try it out...and he also ate the fella....

I hope I didn't overfeed......erm......but glad he's a hearty eater.....so I guess I should probably wait for a big turd before I feed again..

How often do you feed your baby ball?

Was this his first meal ever or just his first for you? I feed my hatchlings every 5 days...they're growing so fast that they need to eat fairly often. I would just wait 5 days and feed him another mouse or you could try a rat pup. I don't see any reason to wait longer than that. 2 mice at once may have been more than he needed but I doubt it will hurt him. I started my last clutch on 1-2 week old rat pups instead of mouse hoppers...I thought they might not eat them since they're bigger than hoppers but the babies seem to love them.

Good luck!

not his first I guess...:O)

Nope, not his first meal, cos he's nice and firm when I received him....I'm in Asia and he's imported direct from US. He was in a striking mode after having the first mice which was small....more like a snack then a meal....so I thought maybe the bigger one would be more satisfying.

I guess adult mice more suitable but just worried they might chew on him....so I actually stand guard over the feeding...ready to swoop in anytime. :D

Lim Choo, always best to feed the food a little on the small side, that way you dont risk regurg. Good Luck with that new BP. :thumbsup:

Feeding every 7 days is a good rule of thump. :)

And welcome to Fauna.
