    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Received these three from Steve Emerick at Napa Valley Snakes a few weeks ago.
They're all 2004 hatchlings.
Kunasir Island Rat Snake (climacophora) She's very sweet and not too spazzy. Should grow up to be a nice blue green snake.

Vietnamese Long-Nosed Rat Snake (Rhynochophis Boulengeri) This little guy is eating live fish currently and I'm hoping to convince him that pinky mice are a food item in the near future. Really interesting to observe and I wish I had more information on these. Also wanting to watch the color change from grey brown to emerald green!

whoa , that Thai Red Bamboo Racer/Rat Snake is one of the nicest snakes I have ever seen , I am not a big snake guy... but, If you know can you post a link to a breeder so I can check out the prices on some of these guys?

Beautifyul!! i love the asian rats. those three species are some of my gavorites ,the Rhynochophis you just got to love!!!!

www.NapaValleySnakes.com is the breeder Steve Emerick's web site. He's got a great selection of Asian Rat snakes and some pretty cool pythons as well.

The Thai Red Bamboo is a little fiesty and they require cool temps and a humid hide, similar to Mandarins in care. They're a rat snake officially, but they also call them racers- my guess is because of their 'tude. He's a beauty though!

Love the Rhyncophis & coxi. Myself, I just picked up a pair of Rhyncophis, hopefully will pick up a pair of coxi this year. Never been much for colubrids until I saw my first Asian species.
