• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hi everyone! After waiting years until my little one turned 12 and we decided he was old enough to take on the responsibility, we purchased a Bearded Dragon for him. Of course this being our only reptile EVER but having 13 cats over the years as well as dogs, birds, frogs, etc., mother (me) will be helping with the raising of "Gizzard" too once I get over this whole cricket thing!

Honestly, I did a lot of research before buying this animal but never knew that the crickets needed dusting, an orange cube in their water, food, etc.

I know that absolutely NO lettuce is allowed while our little one is so small. He is about 4-5" right now, but is there anything else we should be feeding him besides the two small crickets per day?

I'm also getting conflicting reports about his bedding. We have an extremely large tank/cage for him and I purchased the appropriate fake green padding but other sites say that sand is best. Any opinions? I'm sure there are as I've been administrator as well as just member on many MINI Cooper sites so let the comments fly! Honestly though, any help you guys can give will be greatly appreciated as there are so many websites and places to read about raising this beardie that anyone would be confused!

well first off, welcome to fauna :). there are many ways beardies can be comfortable. maybe you can do a bit of both. but from what i notice bout them..they like to rest on branches alot too..so you might try some of those. There is a beardi forum that might be of interest to you here on fauna. check it out :)
