    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just got this guy yesterday! He's a 2011 high contrast albino male weighing in at around 550g. Planning on crossing him to my het albino girl later this year! My question is, he has a few very small black marks on various areas of his body and he has a small area on his head with black speckles. This isn't dirt or mites, it wont come off. Is he a minor paradox? You can see the marks on his face best in the first pic. Paradox or not I love this boy!! He's the first albino I've ever seen in person and boy is this morph amazing!!

LOL my first thought was mites. If he was kept on newspaper it could just be ink but he is stunning. Good luck with him!

Looks like rat scratches, albino's show them really well.
Do you feed live?

No I don't, not sure if he was fed live before I got him. I do believe he was kept on newspaper before I got him. I'll have to see if it goes away now that he's on aspen bedding! Either way I'm in love with this boy!

yeah it could be newspaper, you'll know after the next shed. I see something similar on my albino boas from time to time.
Pretty boy!

It's probably dirt that's embedded in the microscopic creases of the scales. My albino gets absolutely filthy because she loves to dig and even with a bath, she still has dirt in between her scales. It doesn't go away until she sheds.

Could be poop. The light animals love to roll around in it and get disgusting. :rolleyes: Pretty boy. Good luck!

That pic is the reason I use newspaper lol

I used newspaper for the past five years, but I'd rather take pictures against Cypress Mulch then ugly newspaper so I switched back about two weeks ago. The snakes seem to be enjoying the change. The dirt on the snakes doesn't bother me, I have a four year old boy. ;)
