In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

new BS morph thread. and odd ads

Leopard Ball?

Hi Al, if your interested I think I have at least 20 "leopards" in my collection, I'll let them all go for $20,000 LOL. Wow. Are people actually buying these for $500? I feel sorry for the people getting scammed. Kind of like people selling Pastels for $180
I might have taken a chance on that "coffe" if it was a male and I had the $. RDR had a snake like that for sale a couple of years ago, he didn't claim it genetic, but I was going to buy it anyway. When I called it was sold. Oh well.

Well dammit Rob

I was going to try and sell you my 15 leopard balls.
But I will let them go for 100 each...lmao

Intending no offense here Al but...

You're linking to ads which have the seller's contact information avaliable, albeit in a round about way, which would lead to their names being revealed if anybody bothered to pursue it...

You are reffering to specific animals at any rate, specific ads that you find questionable or laughable...

Wouldn't the BOI be more appropriate if you seriously suspect the individuals posting the ads of being fradulent?

If this is meant to be a discussion just about how to avoid advertising if you want to be taken seriously... or the ramifications of making certain that descriptions are correct... or a price sort of close to the average market value...

Good deal, but if that's the case, perhaps individuals shouldn't be mentioned.

I've got no idea who the people who posted the ads are, mostly because I only bothered to look at one of them but... Have you informed them that you are essentially insinuating that the ads are fradulent?

Again, just to make sure... I don't mean anything insulting by this but if there is a legitimate question about the practises of individuals posting specific ads, it probably belongs on the BOI... if there isn't, you probably shouldn't be sticking people's ads up for the rest of us to laugh at, or be making cracks about the non-existance of the animals in question.

Seamus, it was in part my intention to let others know about these "strange ads" so they can form their own conclusion about the sellers and the animals for sale.

If what im doing here is wrong, I will have to find a way to post these in a more proper manner.

Wouldn't the BOI be more appropriate if you seriously suspect the individuals posting the ads of being fradulent?
I dont believe this should be an issue for the BOI because I am in no way calling these sellers good or bad. I have a pet peive (sp) about people trying to sell animals for unheard of prices due to the abarant appearance of their animal. I do think its fine for sellers to advertise odd looking animals as such, ODD that is what they are, and I also have no problems with people asking outragous prices for "normal" animals, but when they are labeled as animals they are not, it gets a little sickening.
I see ads all the time for "awsome looking or weird patterned" animals, and these ads are great.

I think this is a great place for this thread because there are alot of people like myself that are dealing with ball pythons only, and all of the links I have put up here are pertaining only to balls.

incase he pulls the ad
