    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi!

My name is Lorna and I am a newly made crestie addict. I bought my first one at Repticon in Atlanta last year and they have been like potato chips for me ever since. As a teen I was a rabid dragon collector and bird breeding geek so I guess I should have seen this coming. I had never handled lizards until we bought my son a bearded dragon for his birthday and it was love-at-first-sight. At one time I had several walk-in flights worth of cockatiels and parakeets, as well as gerbils, cats, dogs, and hermit crabs.

Now we have a dog, cat, fish, hamster, bearded dragon, and about 10 geckos. Thanks to my boys we also have assorted toads, anoles, turtles, tadpoles, yard snakes, caterpillars, and bugs; but they are strictly 'catch and release'. We are working on my DH to get our first live-in snake-personally I would love a Honduran Milk Snake but the boys are leaning towards a Sand Boa or a Ball Python.

Happy to be here-love to talk obsessively about cresties (and other critters) so feel free to drop by and say "Hey!" as we say down here. :wavey:

Thanks!!

I'd love to see pics of all your menagerie, too. :thumbsup:

I am working on a website-still getting my head wrapped around it and trying to decide on blog vs. website. I will try to post some individual pictures on the forum as I go though.

3 of my girls were from Brian at After Dusk. Thanks Brian for putting up with my 1000 questions!! Wanted to let you know that your girls are in great health and that we have 2 eggs from Gretchen (she will be under a new name soon). Still waiting on some from Ruby but she has a little time yet. :) Peaches is everyone's favorite-I think I found her a great mate too. Can't wait to post pics!

Thank you John, I see I'm not the only dragon fan! :thumbsup:

If you haven't already gotten too far in with the website, I really like what I'm using, Weebly. It's free plus you can do both/and if you want with Weebly (blog and photo gallery, etc)

Thanks Lauralee-I will take a look at that. A photo gallery seems like a great idea for sure...and free is always good!
