just finished my divided ctenosaur enclosure. 6ft tall, 4ft wide, 2ft deep. not the optimal dimensions considering they are more terrestrial than arboreal, however these is for a subadult in one side and a 11" juvi on the other.
simple wood/ply frame. the face is 24" of ply on the lower section (so the iguanas can have real substrate and still dig like a ctenosaur wants to) cedar planking doors. sides/lower front/rear is painted black. interior/door faces = almond/tan. built in plywood shelving in each side, plywood divider, will be removed once they are the same size in a year or two for breeding season. the doors are screened with aluminum mesh. the roof is 1/4" mesh to support the weight of UV/heat bulbs. I may need to add a light or heat source near the bottom of the cage if the temps arent right.
this cage is INDOORS, looks like a wardrobe for both functionality and aesthetics.
i'll post more pics once I anchor the drift wood, lighting, live plants, substrate, hides, dishes, blah blah blah.
