    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Never owned Cresties before, and always wanted to but was unable to since Snake room was too warm. Now that I Have no other snakes and room not heated! Im able to get one finally.

Picked up this girl proven breeder who laid 2 eggs this year already.

80 degrees should be avoided. You will also probably want to add a bit more foliage to that set up. I like the tote on the side idea though.
 
Welcome to the Crested Gecko addiction! Congrats on your new girl, she's lovely! :) I agree with what's already been stated, if you avoid 80 as much as possible & add a few more plants you'll have quite the happy Mama on your hands, lol. I really like the tote standing up like that! too, good idea!
 
Shell Rarely see anything over 82. Summer time shell be kept in back room on Ceramic Tile that stays mid 70s.

Also added more vines today and on the hunt for magnetic feeding disches.

That's a great setup. I was going to suggest adding branches, but I'm a fan of the pipe insulation water noodles, too.
 
Great setup Rich , congrats on your new endeavor . They are highly addictive :) . You may want to think about a few more holes around the top just to let the moisture escape unless it already has enough air to dry completely between mistings.
 
Well Looks like I got Baby on the way. Last 2 weeks shes been very active at night climbing and sitting on the Soap holder, where i keep paper towels on wet. Week ago she shed then started eating few licks which was odd. Cause she would lick entire 2 grams every other night.

Well Last night She used it as a Lay box and laid one fertile egg, then ate some food that was up in same spot as well. I dont know how i missed it as she didnt show signs of being gravid.

Heres picture last night in her fav spot tearing up the paper towel. I took it out put new paper towel down and misted. Then Bam got one egg

If she's tearing papaer towel she may still be trying to lay again ,be sure to keep an eye on her , everything else seems to be on point. I'm sorry if you said it and i didnt notice are you using a Laybox ? what medium for laying ?
 
Didnt have a laybox in there as wasnt for sure she was gravid. I bought her from breeder that was breeding her. This clutch is retained sperm.
