• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi there! I am a long time lurker of these forums, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to introduce myself to everyone.

I've been keeping reptiles for more than a decade, but only recently I've become more serious about breeding. I am even in the process of getting my dealer's license from the dept. of agriculture.

I've kept hundreds of types of herps over the years, but I have a soft spot for morphs of common bearded dragons, leopard geckos, kingsnakes,and ball pythons.

*waves*

welcome! I'm pretty new myself, still learning how to post--can't seem to transfer pics out of photo album. What in the way of kingsnakes ? davy a.

Savannah, huh? That's only a few hours from me here in Athens. Welcome to the forum! You gonna hit Daytona this year? It's a straight jump on I-95 for you.

Thank you for the warm welcome so far everyone!

I won't be making the trip this year, but I have plenty of fellow local keepers who have plans to get a room together there. I am lucky that if they spot something I may like, they'll call me and see if I want it. Also helps that I always pay them back right away too. *chuckles*

Are you going to the show? I hear it is going to be really good this year.

Yeah, I'm going to the show! I don't rent a room though, I sweat it out camping at Tomoka State Park for $15 a night. It's really gorgeous there though, and only a 15 minute drive to the expo. I'm carpooling with a couple of folks. I'm hoping to pick up a male mojave or some bold jungle leos. We'll see. ;-)
