In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

boy..these are almost as addicting as leos!

got this girl at petco yesterday for $60, im not sure what to classify her as..dalmation maybe?, the pics are of her in her day color, she's kind of a deep reddish color during the night hours

so far she has eaten 7 mealworms and lapped up some CGD

to the pictures!

Dan, another nice crestie. She is pretty thick in the middle, considering she came from a petco. I would call her a dalmation. They keep adding up don't they. Now you have to make a decision every time you have some extra cash.... which type of animal am I going to buy this time???? It's a tough decision, I know. Good luck making yours!!

Nice find Dan! hmmmm I may have to get a crested from you....I have an urging for dalmation spots...:hehe:

Nice find Dan..... Petco's around here rarely have anything other than normal leos, albino leos, anoles, and baby beardies.

thanks jeremy, the petco i got this girl from is one of the best i've seen, the animals were all in great condition, they even have "under observation" signs on the leos that have broken tails

she was in with a male...so ya never know, im hoping she might be gravid, if not, the NY show is the 24th :D

i think i'm going to get at least 5 more cresteds..probably more, haha

i think i'd pick a nice tang albino leo, or SHTCTB over a crested though..unless the crestie had some amazing red color. lol

Beutiful Crested! It may be a Red Dalmation, depending on what his night time colors are.

It can be tough, Leopard or Crested or Leachie..... Oh the decisions!! I really do like the cresteds a lot, but I hate that they are so jumpy when they are young. I was cleaning one of my cresteds cages yesterday, and when I picked one up to put him back in his cage he jumped out of my hand, landed on the floor, so I quickly reached down to grab him (My geckos are in my cellar, and there are a whole lot of cracks in the walls for them to get into) and off came his tail. That was the first time I have seen a gecko lose a tail, WOW THAT THING WENT NUTS!!! So, I do like the Leopards a little more because they aren't as jumpy.

Sorry for the long post, just felt like babbling :)

thanks everyone,, jeeze..when i replyed only jeremy had posted, you guys are fast! haha

thanks again

chris, the petcos here have alot..even saw some knight anoles in this one..along with miksnakes, "conhead lizard"(never even heard of those..)
day geckos..everything

very pretty...
yeah...red (patternless or dal) and fires are what I like and breed mostly...
love the reds...one of my males is a red dalmation...here's a pic of a female I hatched and kept for my 2nd colony
000_1021.jpg

the fire male I bought so I'd have new blood for the 2nd colony

I decided to get cresteds instead of a leo...I think they're easily more addicting b/c they don't need the extra heat and more fit in the same space...eggs incubate at normal room temp...perfect for ny where space is key lol

I haven't been to the upper west side petco in the city, but I've been to the other 3 quite a few times...I'm guessing you got her at union square...that's the best kept store I've seen by far and in a long time...(aside from all the sick cats that get space there)...2nd runner up would be the 86th and lex petco but that one I haven't been to in about a year...

was frustrating though when petco freezers would break down and I'd have to go to another when I have to buy my frozen rodents weekly...but I moved and got them in bulk now lol

sorry I'm missing this reptile show though...going to be out of town

They’re just like candy… you can’t have just one piece. Now don’t OD on us. LOL.
