• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

hey Guys,

just wanted to tell you about my new reptile classifieds website. It allows free listings of everything reptile related. We are getting ready to start a extensive advertising campaign so there will be tons of potential buyers visiting. So be the first to list your reptiles, or reptile related items for sale

While I wish you the best, there is free listing here too, and many people might prefer to list here because there is already lots of traffic coming through. Just sayin'.

well i didn't mean to be an alternative to fauna we all know fauna rocks!!! :thumbsup: in fact there isn't even a members sign up all you have to do is post your ad and if a buyer is interested then they can contact you though the contact form, which will send you an email without exposing your email address. or you can just post a link to your website. I just thought that it would give everyone selling reptiles another place to advertise. :D

The non registration or verification of any sort will be the doom of the site due to scammers. i myself would not even visit the site attempting to purchase anything. IMO the site will turn into a playground for scammers and scum. i wish you luck with it but i will not attempt purchasing from someone on it.
