In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

New Gecko Palace, and a nutty Crestie

How do they climb up the the cork back? I see the one has a branch leading to it but not the rest it seems. Neat cage all though I think its not best suited for terrestrial geckos.
Xavier

very nice cage there. has anyone had any problems with cork bark and mites? i had cork bark in my beardie's cage and not too long after it being there he got mites. i took out the cork bark and removed the mites and cleaned the cage, no more mites. mind you the beardie had no mites when i initially got him.

Very cool cage, I think the Crested would like it more than a Leo would

And, That is a cool Crested picture!

Awesome cage, you may want to get add some driftwood pieces, to make it easier for them to climb up on the corskbark. Dang, I really miss having a setup like that one! I may have to break my "no herps in the living room" rule!

gotta nit pick huh xavier lol

That tank is no where near completion, I'm going to start collecting slate slabs, to lead up to the logs, and I can't complain about the deal that I got either. I plan on making little hides on each of the ledges, prolly coconut shell hides. The little ones really like the one ledge, I take one down they scramble back up, I think it's cause the crix like to hide up there too. It's a work in progress, but it'llbe kickin once it's done

Kelly, I am planning on getting driftwood and other stuff, but I want to find a good place to get it, there's really no one around me that carries it, so I may have to order it.....any ideas??

Oh and the crestie is in that same kind of tank, except theirs is much taller. There's a guy about 30 miles from who makes those by hand

I thoroughly wash and then bake the cork bark for 45 minutes before I put them in my leo's tank; I never had mites (touch wood). I do that once every 2 months.

Awesome :)

Sorry, this isn't about the Geckos, but I had to comment! I see you had Return of the Living Dead on!!! I'll have to show that to my Fiancee! When people think of him they think Zombies 1st! Then Heavy or Deaf Metal, even more so because he plays Guitar! 3rd but definatley not last, Wrestling! Or just the AWF. He even has a survival plan for our apartment! You know, in case Zombies ever come! Aaawwww! Now I miss my number one man! :( Hes at work.

you both need to come up and visit then!! Does your man get sick of your geckos too??

Ok there's way too many similarities between our guys! Mine's a backyard wrestler, has a huge collection of horror movies that showcases his zombies, but he's more into psychopathic records music

Got an instant messenger?? I have aim and yahoo perefalcon2 and perefalcon17 respectively

Probably a dumb question, I know that I probably should not even ask. However, you don't house your leopards with your crested do you?

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!

2 totally different species! it's not a good idea to ever mix species especially when cresties live at a slightly lower temp than leopards. My cresties are in a 24 x 24 x 12 tank made by the same guy.
