In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello, ive been a member of this site for a short while now & i've read & read about alot of diffrent things....

I was wanting some advice as to setup a tree frog tank
I have a 20g tank with locking lid that was once a home to my baby BP
but shes outgrown it and i got her a 40g tall tank which she LOVES,
anyway..
i was looking for some tips/tricks to setting up a GTF/WTF enclosure
I.E.
What plants are safe vs. unsafe
What substrate to use
what can i do to set up a DIY water system for them to swim/relax in

i have another tank already set up as a terrarium for 2 forest armadillo lizards
it is a 55g long with tons of awesomeness to it

I am a novice compared to the rest of you, & i would love to have some input from you,

>> Right now as it sits, my set up is as follow

Heating: Zoo med UTH 10-20g (small) (right side)

Substrate: Eco earth (coco fiber)

Plants: Plastic-Amazon sword plant/Real-Arrowhead vine plant

2x pieces of drift wood (cured & dried)
I boiled them in water for 30mins. & dried them out in the oven for 30mins.

Hides: Plastic hide/waterbowl combo (right side)
rubbermaid water bowl (left side)
-----------------------
I have a lot more idea of things i want to add to it but it is a smaller tank with not much height to it, sadly

I was thinking about getting some vines and other live plant to add to it
But i really wanted to add a water system to it
but unsure on how to do so....
